How many days are suitable for traveling to Dalian? Where to stay? Can someone give me a guide?
I finally looked forward to the National Day holiday and had the opportunity to come to Dalian, which I had been thinking about for a long time. I was worried that there would be a lot of people and it would not be fun enough, but I didn’t expect that this trip to Dalian would bring me a lot. Beautiful memories... Now I will tell you about my travel experience, hoping to share the happiness with you!
October 1st
At around 12 noon, Beihang Airlines’ McDonnell Douglas 82 (a small plane, a bit wobbly) took us from Shanghai to Dalian. The sky is a bit cloudy and it feels like it's going to rain. As soon as I got out of Zhoushuizi Airport, I met several "Brothers" soliciting business. I had heard for a long time that the "Brothers" in Dalian were very enthusiastic, but I was still not used to being called Big Brother. After failing to find the airport express line to the city, we picked an enthusiastic "sister" (there were taxis parked outside the airport, so it was very convenient to call one) to take us to the hotel we had booked. I have long heard that the city of Dalian is very clean and beautiful. Maybe it is because of the weather. The scenery on both sides of the highway is not as good as expected, but the Dalian I longed for has arrived.
We stayed in a family hotel in Dalian. We booked it in advance through online search. The name is Dole. We won’t mention the website address here. Let’s search online. The hotel room was very clean and the price was reasonable. After checking in, we packed our bags, bought a map of Dalian, and started our trip to Dalian.
After reading many introductions from netizens and carefully studying the map, we decided to go to the southernmost end of Binhai Road - Xinghai Park first. Since we live nearby, walking around like this saves a lot of time. We walked to Xinghai Park and went straight to the sea. There were not many people, but the beach was full of pebbles, which was far worse than the beaches in Sanya. Some people were swimming on the sea. After all, it was cold and not many people were in the water. There are also some marine entertainment projects, such as speedboats, bungee jumping, etc., which did not arouse our interest, so we climbed up a hill and looked down at the beach and tourists below the mountain, as well as the endless sea, and it felt very peaceful. There is a sea exploration cave on the mountain. It is pitch dark inside and nothing can be seen. A few people pretended to look around and then tried to go in. It was really hard to see inside, even if they took out the Nokia 8250, which is called a super flashlight, it would not help, so they had to give up (for fear of accidentally exploring into the sea). I was walking along the beach, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, until the sun set. I suddenly remembered that I had planned to go to Shengya Ocean World. Seeing that I was running out of time, I had to give up.
After leaving Xinghai Park, my stomach was already growling with hunger. I remembered Wusi Road (BBQ Street) highly recommended by netizens, so I took the 901 air-conditioned bus and headed straight to my destination. It’s strange that people in Dalian don’t take air-conditioned buses, so there are very few people on the bus. There are many barbecue shops on the street near Wusi Road and 129th Road. There were several shop assistants on the street. When they saw us, they kept trying to persuade us to patronize his shop. Since it was not yet dinner time, there was no one in the store. After walking around, I saw a restaurant called "Sihai BBQ Restaurant" with two tables sitting there, so I joined them. (Later, several groups of people also saw our store. We came in because there were so many people, but soon the seats were full, while the nearby shops were deserted). The shop assistants are all locals, they talk very cheerfully and they are very friendly, so I got used to it. The food is very cheap and the quantity is plentiful. For example, the mutton skewers are 10 yuan for 30 skewers, so tempting! I took out the book I had downloaded online and ordered a portion of shrimp clams, 30 skewers of mutton, 4 large skewers of beef, 10 skewers of pork, sweet potatoes, cucumbers dipped in spicy sauce, a few rice cakes... The clerk stared at my book for a long time: " What the hell is this?” Plus a bottle of Budweiser (thinking about it now, it’s nice to try Dalian’s local beer), it cost us more than 50 yuan a day, so cool!
Having had enough wine and food, breathing in the fresh sea breeze of Dalian at night, I was in a very good mood, so I boarded a bus and let it drive. Gradually it started to get busier, so I got out of the car and started shopping casually. The autumn night was a bit cold, and I remembered that I almost froze to death during the day, so I bought a square shawl for my girlfriend in a shopping mall. She is already beautiful, and when she puts on a shawl, she is like a fairy... (It’s a bit off topic, but the photo was developed. Later, my friends all said that my girlfriend looked beautiful wearing a shawl!) Not long after walking, we came to a place called Qingniwa Bridge. It was very lively. The most important thing is that leading from Qingniwa Bridge to Youhao Square is an alley called Zhongyuan Street, which is full of fruit vendors. , there are many fruits with Northeastern characteristics, and the most delicious one is the muscat grape. The taste is as its name suggests, and it is extremely delicious (we eat 2 or 3 pounds every night). It costs five yuan for three pounds, and the price is also reasonable. There are also many small shops on the street, selling dumplings, cooked vegetables, and a Golden Apple Barbecue Restaurant. The store is large and the business is booming. When passing by a Japanese restaurant, I couldn't resist the smell of squid balls, and...
I returned to the hotel in the evening, my stomach was full, so satisfied!
October 2nd
As soon as I opened the curtains, the sun couldn't wait to shine in the room, so I got excited and started the most perfect day in the plan. Haizhiyun Plaza—Bangchui Island!
It's a bit cold, the sky is blue, and the air is very fresh.
There is a Wang Mazi Porridge Market next to Youhao Square, which is self-service. The Wang Mazi pot stickers there are delicious, the porridge is also very fragrant, plus other delicious breakfasts, the price does not exceed 20 yuan for 4 people. There is no direct bus to Haizhiyun Square, but you can first take the tram to Siergou (it seems to be No. 201, near the train station, a quarter of an hour's walk from Youhao Square). The tram rides rickety, giving it a nostalgic feel, and it’s very fun to stop at red lights and go on green lights with the cars. When we arrived at Si'ergou, we ordered a small noodle car (a three-wheeled one that could seat two people and was painted sky blue, very cute). We agreed on five yuan and went straight to Haizhiyun Plaza.
The sea here is much more beautiful, with sunshine, blue sky, mountains, sea, and ships looming or appearing in the distance. Haha, I don’t want to leave. Some old people on the beach use homemade bamboo poles equipped with hooks to catch jellyfish from the sea. I have never seen such a big jellyfish in my life. In my impression, it should be a small ball. There are some sculptures on the square, just like the ones in front of Shanghai Ganghui Gate. I remember one sculpture was of a little boy bending down to pick up empty cans on the ground. It seems that environmental protection has been deeply rooted in Dalian people. No wonder this city is so clean. At the end of the square, the coastal road winds up the mountain. After asking, I found out that it leads to Bangchui Island. It is a little far away from here. How about walking there... A few years ago, students were not afraid of anything. Maybe it can be done with a lot of force. You can't get a bus here, you can only get one by walking back (don't take a sightseeing bus, you can't get to Bangchui Island). I took a taxi and climbed up the mountain. With mountains on one side and the sea on the other, coupled with straight roads, driving on Binhai Road must be quite enjoyable. When passing by the strange slope, I saw many people getting out of their cars to take pictures. I always felt that it was not as magical as the legend says, but it was just a bit visually impaired. Along the way, I enjoyed the sea view and listened to the eloquent introduction by "Brother", which was very enriching. I saw a very lush oak tree growing on a rock in the distance, and I wanted to go take a look, but the driver said it was fake and made of iron, so he gave up (but it is indeed a perfect place to enjoy the sea view. Netizens are advised to stop and take a look). After a while, I saw Bangchui Island. It is said that Chairman Jiang lived there for more than a month last year. The ticket to Bangchui Island is 20 yuan per person. My brother kept urging us to take his car for a ride and come out. He said that there was no scenery inside and we couldn't get a car when we came out. Because my good friend had strongly recommended this place before coming to Dalian, I didn’t take the driver’s advice and asked him to drive us to the beach and then sent him away (the fare was more than 20 yuan). Unexpectedly, this place became the place we missed the most during our recent trip to Dalian! Not to mention the seaside scenery, the large and small islands in the middle of the sea are also unique. I rented a tandem bicycle (30 yuan for half an hour, which is quite expensive, but it can be negotiated if the time exceeds), and rode along the sea easily, bathing in the sea breeze, and felt very carefree! The entire Bangchui Island Resort is built on a hill, and the island is lush and quiet. Maybe there are no rebates to be obtained here, and no tourist groups have entered the island, so except for a few people on the beach, there are almost no people on the island. I struggled to push the bike up the hillside and rode along the quiet path. The two of us had sex together when going uphill, and soared together when going downhill. The sun shone on us from the leaves, and the fresh air caressed us. Suddenly, we wanted to sing. Huang Lei's song: "Walking on the way home, I found that you love to watch the sunset... Oh, take your hand and fly to where the flowers bloom..." There is a beautiful grassland on the island, right at the Customs Villa In front of it, the grass spreads from the hillside to the foot of the mountain. In the distance is a small golf course, green and green, with several people playing golf there, very leisurely. The two children rolled down from the top of the slope and screamed happily... There are also many lawns on the island with various small animal sculptures. They were so naive that they imitated the movements of piglets and took photos. , as if returning to childhood. There is a small road not far from the gate. There is a row of fences on the roadside, which are covered with vines. While riding, a villa suddenly appears on the mountain in the distance. The sun's rays reflect on the blue glass curtain wall with golden light. Yes, amazing! It's like suddenly seeing an ancient castle in the distant mountains on a quiet road in Europe. It feels like picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence and leisurely seeing the southern mountains. As I got closer, I realized it was the customs villa (the customs really knows how to choose a place, it seems like all the money is spent here). I met a wedding convoy while riding on the road. The long stretch of cars were all Mercedes-Benz, and several of them were S600s. It seemed that those who could hold a wedding on the island were not just ordinary people. Unconsciously, more than an hour passed before I remembered to return the car and bargained for 50 yuan. After sitting at the beach for a long time, I forgot to eat lunch when I thought about it, so I had to leave reluctantly. There were several taxis parked on the beach, and it seemed that what that guy said was not credible. I took a taxi to Hutan Park and had dinner at a small restaurant next to the park. I ordered two dishes and a pot of soup. The portion was so big! However, the price is not cheap and the taste is average. If I had known better, I would have bought some bread, ham and the like to eat on the island. When I arrived at the park entrance, I remembered that it was National Day and there were so many people. If it weren’t for the penguins and polar bears in the Polar Pavilion (something my girlfriend likes), I wouldn’t have come.
I forgot about the tickets, they are not expensive, but the Polar Museum costs 90 yuan per person, which is a rip off! I lingered at the gate for a long time, and since everyone in the queue was talking about the Polar Museum, I decided to give up! I was walking around in the park and watched a performance, which seemed to be a Miao dance. There was no good place to go. I accidentally saw someone rappelling down the mountain in the distance. It seemed quite exciting, so I bought a ticket (50 yuan per person). , not cheap), two people were tied together, pushed and slid down the mountain. The moment I left the ground, I realized what helplessness was. The two of them screamed for a long time before the castration gradually slowed down. At this time, I was so worried that my shoes would fall into the lake... Maybe we were not fat enough. We actually stopped when we were approaching the finish line, and the staff had to come to rescue us. It was very embarrassing. This is also our only impression of Hutan Park.
I am tired and want to go back to the hotel to take a rest. There is a large bus distribution center next to the park. Many, many people lined up in a long queue, all heading towards Qingniwa Bridge. We were shocked. There was also a bus stop on the roadside. It was nothing. While we were waiting for the bus, an air-conditioned bus drove up (the ticket price was 2 yuan), and it was also going to Qingniwa Bridge. There was no one on the bus, and most of the seats were empty. A few of us got on the bus, which looked very strange.
Because I was very tired from playing, I bought a few kilograms of muscat grapes and Northeastern Zhenzi on the way, ate some squid balls, and went back to the hotel to rest. Looking back, this day was the happiest day, but it was a pity that the whole night was wasted.
October 3rd
I woke up naturally and had breakfast at Yahui. According to the plan, I took the bus to Fujiazhuang (I forgot which route, anyway, the transportation is convenient) Very, several cars arrived), the ticket is 5 yuan, which is more expensive than what is said online. The sea here is similar to other places. A row of fishing boats on the beach caught our interest. The boats were dark and aged. Suddenly, we had the urge to go fishing. It must be cool. There are leftover seafood left by fishermen on the beach, and large swarms of flies are flying around, killing the scenery. There is a group of rocks on the beach, and many people fish and swim leisurely on it. Several elderly people are over 60 years old, and they can still swim in the sea and catch some jellyfish. There is nothing special about Fujiazhuang, but the mood is relaxed, so it is good to just walk around. After leaving the park, I felt a little thirsty and bought a bottle of mineral water (three and a half yuan). Remembering the regret of not having been to Shengya Ocean World, I took a taxi and headed straight to my destination. As soon as I got off the bus, someone came up to sell mineral water: "Two yuan two yuan, four yuan in the park..." Chest tight! Entering Xinghai Park, since we have already been to other places, we went straight to our destination. The ticket to Sea World is 70 yuan. Seeing that there were not many people at the door, I bought a ticket and went in. Only when I got inside did I realize that I had been scammed! "People from the Black Iron Tour Group..." "Veteran cadres from Beijing are following closely..." Everyone crowded in front of the "big fish tanks" and clicked their tongues! nice! pretty! Being able to see penguins in Ocean World was beyond our expectations. It was so cute to watch the silly little penguins swimming around in the water, then climbing up to the shore and swaying like ducks. This can be regarded as making up for the regret of not going to the Polar Museum. The underwater passage is really interesting. We watched sharks passing over our heads, and some unknown strange things crawling over it. The suction cup tentacles at the bottom were clearly visible... There was also a diver who greeted us from the bottom of the water. Maybe it's because of the refraction of the glass, but she looks short and fat, much uglier than the fish. After leaving Sea World, I was asked to take a questionnaire. It was nothing more than suggestions for the aquarium. I made a lot of suggestions, which were quite pertinent, but I didn't know if they would be adopted.
I didn’t eat much lunch that day because I just ate a lot of squid skewers all the time. So I decided to treat myself in the evening. But just as we were returning to the hotel, the proprietress of the hotel cooked a lot of seafood and was very enthusiastic about giving it to me. She pushed her around, but I still ate it. The seafood cooked at home is different from the seafood bought outside, and it feels very family...
October 4th
Since I am going back to Shanghai tomorrow, I decided to buy some specialties in the morning and take them back to my friends to try. After eating egg pancakes (delicious) and Northeastern dumplings on Taiyuan Road, we first went to the Korean Clothing City near the train station that my girlfriend has longed for. Is this also called a clothing city? It's just...not a compliment. After leaving as if fleeing, I took bus 23 to the Olympic Stadium. The children in Dalian really love football and practice on the field early in the morning. There are many sporting goods stores around the stadium, offering everything from sportswear to fitness equipment. The Wal-Mart supermarket is right behind the stadium. It is a large underground shopping supermarket. There are not many people inside, and there is almost no need to queue up after shopping. What is not popular is that I actually won a prize at the checkout, a cup of McDonald's black tea, haha. I remember a friend on the Internet said that there was a European underground city there, but I couldn't find it. I accidentally discovered "Shanghai Xiangyang Road Clothing Market"! This made my girlfriend so happy that the mouse fell into the rice vat. The market is also underground and is quite large. The facades of all the small shops are very European. The most user-friendly thing is that there is a row of benches in the middle of each street, dotted with French street lamps. It seems that this is the so-called European underground city. . There are many kinds of clothes in the market, and the quality is also good. The men sit on the benches and watch the female escorts trying on clothes. Whenever they try on something, they jump out like little rabbits and ask if they look good, and then shake their heads. , or nod and buy.
Here, the bargaining tactics used on Xiangyang Road in Shanghai are of no use at all, and there is no sense of achievement. If the shopping environment is not very good, and it is indeed not very expensive, I will buy a lot (bow! Runway Dalian and visit Xiangyang Road).
October 5th
Since it was an early morning flight, I got up early, took a taxi, bought a copy of Dalian Daily, and hurried to the airport. The weather was surprisingly nice and I couldn’t help but want to stay a few more days. Dalian is so beautiful!
The return Airbus 300 brought our trip to a perfect end. Now thinking about this trip to Dalian, I can’t help but miss the barbecue on Wusi Road, the aroma of grapes on Taiyuan Street, and the scenery of Bangchui Island. ...and the hotel we stayed at - Dole Family Hotel, the lady boss was very nice. Dalian, I will come again!
Postscript
Due to the relatively slow pace and purely for leisure, I didn’t have time to go to some nice places, such as going to Xiaoping Island to eat seafood, going to Jinshi Beach to watch the sea, etc. I hope friends who have been there can share their experiences with everyone.
There is another thing that impressed me deeply during this trip to Dalian. At any bus stop, no matter whether it is the terminal or not, whether there are railings or not, Dalian people will consciously line up to get on the bus. This is the quality of citizens!
