Influence of MICE Tourism on Exhibitors

Since the 1980s, exhibition activities in the form of incentive tourism, large-scale conferences, exhibitions and festivals have developed rapidly under the impetus of government departments, bringing unprecedented opportunities and business opportunities to the traditional tourism economy and becoming an important part of modern tourism. MICE tourism came into being as the times require, and it is known as "the jewel in the crown of tourism". As the venue of the exhibition, while attracting a lot of investment and promoting economic development, the author pays attention to how its tourism industry will be affected during the exhibition, and whether the exhibition industry will develop harmoniously with the tourism industry. Taking Chengdu West Expo as an example, this paper discusses the influence of West Expo on Sichuan tourism.
