? Jiangbulake is about 50 kilometers away from our regiment headquarters, which can be said to be within easy reach. In the summer vacation of 2017, an old classmate from high school took my parents, Aunt Suhua, and me on a one-day trip to the famous scenic spot Jiangbulake.

? We drove left from the regiment headquarters for about ten minutes and entered the national highway to the right. Driving all the way north, the asphalt road is wide and flat. At first, there was a harvested wheat field on the roadside. In the wheat field, large wheels made of crushed wheat straw were scattered here and there. The sheep were scattered in all directions, grazing leisurely. It’s almost the same as my childhood memories, except that at that time the wheat straws were lying on the ground, and they needed to be stacked manually with forks one by one to form wheat straw stacks. Unknowingly, I saw the endless green waves of wheat. Boundless and spectacular, the green wheat waves surged in waves with the wind, which made me marvel!

? Because it is warm in winter, cool in summer, and has abundant rainfall, it is most suitable for growing wheat, barley and other crops. Therefore, wheat, barley and other crops are grown in Gougou Chacha here, covering an area of ??20,000 acres. , the thousands of acres of dry fields crisscrossed by roads seem to be in mid-air, commonly known as "wheat fields in the sky." The temperature here is much lower than where we are at the bottom of the mountain, and the wheat maturity period is about a month later than at the bottom of the mountain. When the wheat at the foot of the mountain is yellow, the place is lush and green, making people marvel at the ingenuity of nature. ? The old classmate was driving and acting as a tour guide for us. He said that everyone’s living conditions are now better and more and more people are visiting Jiangbulak. They come here at least twice a year. , Jiangbulak in autumn is the harvest season. In addition to the golden waves of wheat, there are also sweet fruits. Since today is not a weekend, there are not many tourists and cars, so the journey is smooth. Within an hour we arrived at the parking lot of Jiangbulak. The parking lot is very large. We parked the car and went to the ticket office of the scenic spot to buy tickets. An adult ticket was 48 yuan. The three elderly people were all over 70 years old and had admission tickets.

? We first took an observation car in the scenic area to admire the plateau meadows on both sides of this winding and winding road, which looked like a natural green carpet.

When we arrived at the boardwalk, we got off the car. In order to allow tourists to fully experience the different scenery of Jiangbulake during hiking, there is a 33-kilometer-long Tianshan wooden plank road in the scenic area. The entire boardwalk is designed with originality, so as to achieve the effect of changing scenery with every step, and the winding path leads to a quiet place. Behind us are the tall and majestic snow-capped spruce trees. They are like soldiers standing on the border, guarding the territory of the motherland.

Two old men who are nearly eighty years old and a seventy-five-year-old woman, with strong bodies and steady steps, are not inferior to the young people. Seeing their energetic appearance makes me feel very happy as a child. The morning sun in the mountains was not as scorching as it was falling from the spruce leaves, shining warmly on my body. We sat on the floor and rested for a while. The air in the mountains is fresh and it is a natural oxygen bar! Look, cozy old father.

Jiangbulake is completely different from Banjiengou where I went thirty years ago. I haven’t found any trace of the past. Life here has been turned upside down. The three elderly people, who are nearly eighty years old, lamented along the way that the increasingly powerful country has made their lives very different from those thirty years ago. The happy life of the people now is hard-won. They encouraged each other to take good care of themselves, and when their legs and feet were able to move, they would visit more of the great rivers and mountains of the motherland.
