What to wear for a trip to Queenstown? Tourism climate in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Another interesting thing about Queenstown is the climate here. What to wear should be a puzzle for every traveler. Today, Bian Xiao will explain to you.

The September we went to was the early spring season in the southern hemisphere. If you use one word to describe the weather, it is warm and cold. In addition, the South Island is colder than the North Island.

Generally speaking, the temperature difference is quite large, about a few degrees to a dozen degrees. Sometimes it's cold at night. If it is sunny during the day, it will be warmer. If it is rainy, there may be deep coolness. Sometimes driving on the road and passing by a place, the weather may be just the opposite. Or somewhere, when the heavy rain will be reported, there is no rule to follow, mainly depending on the character and the mood of God.

That day in Hobitun, North Island, it was sunny at first, but there was a sudden rain. We had to follow the narrator to the Hobbit's little house and take an umbrella. On the John Mountain Trail in the South Island, it was blue sky and white clouds at first, and I was taking a selfie. Suddenly, it was cloudy, and the heavy rain fell with snow seeds the size of beans, which stung me. I quickly ran to the car with all my strength.

It is also important to influence the somatosensory temperature and wind. Sometimes the wind is very strong, especially in some lakes. What I remember best is that in Pukaki, the wind was strong enough to blow away my last few hairs.

In addition, although it was spring, we actually encountered a snow, which was really a big accident. It began to snow in the middle of the night. During the day, when we went out, the snow stopped and the sun came out. It won't be too cold.

First of all, clothes must be linked to the weather. Before we set off, we kept an eye on the weather forecast of several big cities in New Zealand on our mobile phones, and also asked the poor New Zealand delegation how their recent friends were dressed. The final conclusion is that all kinds of clothes should be brought a little, because as mentioned above, the temperature difference is large.

I brought a light feather, which is neither heavy nor takes up space, but also keeps warm. Especially in the night when shooting the starry sky was delayed, I was prevented from shivering in the cold wind. Of course, I still need to wear close-fitting thermal underwear, sweater, leggings with wool, scarf and hat. You know, the night of shooting stars is in a relatively open place, by a lake or under a snowy mountain. One stop is half a night, sometimes the wind is still strong and it is really cold. Of course, if I hadn't gone out to shoot things, I might not need such a bag. For example, my two companions are chatting on WeChat in a warm room and brushing friends circle.

When I was in South Island, I usually wore jeans with a T on weekdays. Denim coat, jacket, knitted cardigan or windbreaker is enough, medium thickness. You can take it off at noon on a sunny day or when it is hot indoors. If it's raining, windy and cold at night, you can add a scarf and hat or something. Moreover, it is usually in the car on the road. If it's cold outside, just keep taking pictures and run back to the car.

During these two days in the North Island, the temperature will be higher. Basically, I wear long-sleeved shirts, T-shirts, knits or shirts during the day, which is basically not cold. Of course, it's still a little cold in the morning and evening, but it's much better than South Island.

Besides these, we also brought short sleeves, which didn't come in handy. Fortunately, it didn't take up space.

Secondly, try to mix and match clothes. After all, girls love to brag and want to take beautiful photos. Of course, they don't want to repeat them every day, but the luggage is limited and it is impossible to bring too much. Therefore, it is the most ideal method to strike a balance, make the best use of everything and mix and match more. Tidy up the clothes you want to bring before you go out, just 2-3 pieces of each kind, and then put them together to see if you can put them on. Try to bring some items that are highly matched and comfortable to wear.

The color choice of clothes is also very important. I also like black, white and gray everyday, which is very beautiful and advanced. But if you go out, the color will be brighter, after all, it will be more photogenic. Of course, this is not absolute, nor is it suitable for exaggeration in travel, but also depends on how to match and the scenery behind it. There are also degrees of collocation. It is good to have a bright color on your body, no more than two, and the two colors must be coordinated and not abrupt. Not everyone can wear rainbow colors well. Personally, pink is a good choice. For older white-skinned girls, it does have an age-reducing effect. Hehe, I always take a pink item when I go out. Don't despise me.

In addition, you should pay attention to wearing clothes with high reflectivity when going out. Because taking pictures and looking at them with the naked eye are sometimes different things, which may look good, but taking pictures is easy to explode and turn into pieces of dead white, which will be super ugly, and may even make people look bloated and even visually deformed. And some clothes, such as boyfriends.

The size will look cool, but taking pictures will probably make you look fat and short, especially for small girls. Hehe, after all, not everyone goes out with professional photographers, so we can choose a good angle to avoid these problems. There is actually a lot to say about the topic of photography and camera angle, but time and space are limited, so I won't say much here.

Although we are all talking about what kind of film to shoot and what clothes and skirts to take when going out, we did bring some. But on the actual trip, I really didn't bother to change it temporarily, at least I did. Ok, I admit it, I'm just lazy sometimes! Therefore, this expedition to New Zealand, the overall dress style is mainly comfortable and casual. After all, time is limited, so we can't travel for taking pictures. And it's a private trip. Come whenever you want. For me, it is important to feel the real scenery in front of me, not just scratching. There must be a balance between the two. As long as you can leave some photos full of memories, it is actually enough.

Just to be clear, my personal preference and jacket are not my consideration.

Many places in the shoe tour are in the wild. Although it is by car, there are many places to walk. Therefore, a pair of shoes that are easy to walk and can prevent slip, water and rain is essential. This time I'm still wearing my beloved Timberland. It's really fashionable. It's good to wear. It's good to wear. Basically, you don't choose anything, you can wear anything. In addition, I brought a pair of comfortable casual shoes to wear. Of course, light flip-flops are also to be worn, and they can be taken out on planes, hotels and cars.

The best snow season in South Island New Zealand is located in the southern hemisphere, which is just the opposite of that in China. It's summer for us and winter for New Zealand. Therefore, the snow season in New Zealand is basically from mid-June to mid-September, and the earliest open snowfield is June 10. However, due to global climate anomalies, the climate in June often appears abnormal. After the snowfield opened in June last year, the weather became warmer and the snow melted, so it had to be closed. It reopened in early July. Therefore, the best snow period is from mid-July to late August. At this time, you can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery, but also be unimpeded!

Winter temperature in New Zealand New Zealand is located in the southern hemisphere monsoon belt. It is almost always spring in the North Island, and the temperature in winter is around 12 degrees. Queenstown, a ski resort, is located in the South Island of New Zealand, and the temperature will be relatively low. Generally, the daytime temperature is 3-5 degrees, and the snowfield on the top of the mountain is 3-5 degrees below zero. Compared with Bandung in China and Hokkaido in Japan, this temperature is simply a paradise. Queenstown skiing is not cold at all, and it feels particularly good to slide. In winter, because of humidity, grass turns green, blue sky, snow and green grass ... are so beautiful that people forget to breathe.
