What is the visa application process for Kazakhstan?

Dear, due to work needs, I recently applied for a Kazakhstan visa. I would like to share my experience with you for your reference.

I applied at the Consulate General in Shanghai. Visas for people from Shanghai and surrounding areas can be processed here. People from other areas may have to go to Beijing to apply.

Tools/Materials

Passport, valid for at least six months, with at least two blank pages

Methods/Steps

First, you need to get Invitation letter to Kazakhstan.

The invitation letter must specify the following information: the inviting party, the inviting party’s address and phone number, the purpose of going to Kazakhstan, and the invitation letter number.

The invitation number is very important and can be used when making an appointment.

After you get the invitation number, you can make an appointment for an interview.

The way to make an appointment is to send an email to kzvisashanghai@sina.com during the time periods of 09:00-13:00 and 15:00-17:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The title is name + passport number + invitation letter number + invitation letter validity period. For example, Zhang San+G12345678+123456(2)+2014.10.1-2015.1.1

Just leave the email content blank.

Usually a day or two after sending the email, the embassy will reply and tell you when to go for the interview and what materials you need to prepare.

The materials required for business and tourist visas are:

1. ?Visa application form (attachment, please download, print and fill it out);

2.? Invitation letter (clear copy or fax) and registration number issued by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan;

3. A passport valid for not less than 6 months, which must have at least Two blank visa pages;

4.? The first page of the passport and the front and back of the ID card are copied on the same A4 paper;

5.? The original letter of introduction issued by the Chinese company or unit , must be printed on the company's letterhead (see attachment for sample text);

6.? A copy of the business license of the Chinese company or unit (must be stamped with the official seal).

Visa and authentication processing time of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan and the Republic of China in Shanghai: 9:30-12:30 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

According to the reply , you can go to the 10th floor, Tower A, Oriental International Building, No. 85 Loushanguan Road, Shanghai for an interview during the above time, so go as early as possible.

There is an uncle there who arranges the interview sequence. He is very nice and can help you review the materials. He can also help you answer any questions you have.

The interview was in Chinese. Although the interviewer seemed to be from Kazakhstan, his Mandarin was pretty good and he could definitely understand it. Just answer more slowly. . Just answer whatever you ask, and don't say anything irrelevant. And be honest. Usually there are only three or five questions, such as what are you going to Kazakhstan for, have you been there before, have you been to Africa, etc.

After the interview, I have to go to Bank of China to pay the fee. The tourist visa I applied for is 130 yuan.

The Bank of China is not far away. It takes five minutes to walk there. Just ask the lobby manager how to get there.

After paying the money, I got two documents, returned to the consulate and handed one to the uncle, and kept the other for getting the visa.

You still have to pick up the visa in person. Bring the proof of payment at that time to pick up.

If there are multiple visas on one stub, one person can take it.
