Legal Basis

Article 32 of the "Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China (2018 Amendment)" Travel agencies must be true and accurate in order to solicit and organize tourists. , and shall not conduct false propaganda to mislead tourists.

Article 97 of the "Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China (2018 Amendment)" If a travel agency violates the provisions of this law and commits any of the following acts, it shall be ordered to make corrections by the tourism authorities or relevant departments. The illegal income shall be confiscated and a fine of not less than 5,000 yuan but not more than 50,000 yuan shall be imposed; if the illegal income exceeds 50,000 yuan, a fine of not less than one time but not more than five times the illegal income shall be imposed; if the circumstances are serious, the person shall be ordered to suspend business for rectification or the travel agency business license shall be revoked. ; The directly responsible person in charge and other directly responsible personnel shall be fined not less than RMB 2,000 but not more than RMB 20,000: (1) for making false propaganda to mislead tourists; (2) for ordering products and services from unqualified suppliers. ;(3) Failure to purchase travel agency liability insurance in accordance with regulations.
