The composition of civilized phenomena around me

Following Yu Xiansheng's footsteps, I trudged 40,000 kilometers in "Millennium Sigh" and traveled to ancient countries such as ancient Greece, Egypt and India. It was only after the once brilliant ancient civilization gradually declined until it declined that we saw the enduring Chinese civilization. I can't help sighing, sighing how quickly the civilizations of other countries have disappeared, and even sighing that China's civilization continues to this day.

This is a diary of Yu Xiansheng inspecting the remains of human civilization with Phoenix TV at the turn of the century. I have just finished reading this book, and I have experienced many vicissitudes, and I have visited so many civilized historical sites swallowed up by time and war. My fingers seem to touch the fragments of civilization and the rut of history. Gently put down the book, only to find that my heart is bleeding. ...

A weak scholar waded through mountains and rivers along the roadbed of ancient human civilization, only to find that there were so many sections with dense trenches, blurred grasslands and bandits.

I suddenly found that it was human beings who created civilization and destroyed it.

In the Middle East, India and Afghanistan, human beings are still killing each other and destroying their own civilization. Suddenly I felt very sad: when can we humans have a clear heart to protect those treasures?

India, one of the four ancient civilizations, is in decline. The ancient country that Xuanzang and Faxian dreamed of in those days has now become a hell on earth. Crowded streets, "god cows" running around, idlers and streakers are even more contemptuous. Buddhism has declined in India, and this country has become too deserted. There are no cigarettes, no bells, no Buddhist temples, and no followers like clouds around. At that time, the beautiful Ganges stinks, and dying people moved themselves to the Ganges to wait for death. Indians have always regarded the Ganges as their "mother river", and of course they will have the idea of returning to their "mother's arms" after death, so countless patients, the elderly and all kinds of people gather towards this goal every day. India is a country with an exploding population. Even though these people may only account for a part of the total population, it will be a huge number, not to mention it is a refuge for every Indian. This group of people use Ganges water in their daily life: including bathing, drinking and excreting, as well as the bodies of the dead. You can imagine how dirty the Ganges water is! From here, I also saw the morbidness caused by faith, which has spread to the whole country and penetrated into the bone marrow of society. What a sad situation! I am full of desolation, and I look at each other coldly along the way. Standing on the wave of the Millennium, watching the decline of civilization is very heartbreaking.

When the author came to Greece again, he had to go to the Parthenon, which was the birthplace of Greek civilization. In this article, the author did not spend any pen and ink to describe the face and long history of the temple, but it impressed me the most. This is because of the contents of the leaflets distributed to the author by the staff before he left the temple. It turns out that an organization and several professors are appealing to the world to bring back the essence of Parthenon sculpture from the British Museum in London. The reasons are forceful but well-worded, which is moving, especially for China people like me.

I suddenly remembered an article I read a long time ago, also written by Yu Xiansheng, expressing his dissatisfaction with Stein and others taking away Dunhuang cultural relics. At that time, a Taoist lived in Dunhuang. Foreign explorers exchanged a few gold coins and personal belongings for a large number of precious classics and cultural relics. I hate the ignorance of the Taoist priest and the disorderly eyes of the officials at that time.

"I hope that the Parthenon cultural relics can return to Greece before I die. If I come back after death, I will definitely be resurrected. " This is what a late Greek culture minister said. This sour voice contains the last dignity of an ancient civilization.

……

Civilization declined under the iron halberd sword,

Extreme poverty and backwardness,

Extreme ignorance and ignorance,

Civilization and barbarism are only one step away. The birthplace of civilization is the place where characters were first used, but now it has become the place with the most illiteracy. It's a wonderful irony.

Persian civilization, Hebrew civilization, Egyptian civilization, Greek civilization, Babylonian civilization ... now only piles of ruins are left, and the ruins are buried with their civilizations.

It is not difficult to find that the destruction of civilization is often accompanied by bloody wars. In the countless smoke, we personally destroyed the civilization we created, but did not care.

When glory became lonely, when the temple was broken and people began to forget, I clearly heard a sigh, from the distant Aegean Sea, from the Pharaoh's pyramid, from war-torn Afghanistan, and from the Nahen River. Gently, slowly, a sigh will become helpless after 1000 years.

At the end of the book, the author returned to the motherland and began to lament the beauty of Chinese civilization. After reading "Millennium Sigh", the soul seems to be awakened. I am proud that I was born in China. I'm still writing Chinese characters with a history of thousands of years. I communicate in languages that have been circulating for thousands of years. I'm looking for the shadow of my ancestors. I was born in China and grew up in China. Even though so many mountain villages in this country are still poor and so many children can't go to school, I am still proud that I am a descendant of the Chinese people. At least our civilization is still there. The 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization has never been broken or lonely.

I hope our civilization will continue, but I'm afraid there will be more and more people like Dunhuang Taoists, so I hope more China people can be as dignified, thoughtful and soulful as the Minister of Culture. We can't watch our national treasure stolen and count the gold we got with peace of mind, just like the people in China at that time. We should consciously protect the national consciousness.

What China people need is a sense of identity with national culture, a love for ancient civilization, a deep affection for the motherland, and a clean and transparent soul. These are my dreams, my dreams as a China person, but they may be the common dreams of thousands of China people in Qian Qian.

Chinese dream, what is Chinese dream? Is it just the prosperity of the motherland's economy or the peace and beauty of national reunion? Perhaps these are urgently needed in China today, but they will not be the ultimate goal. If a country leaves its economy behind, all that remains is civilization, a true soul.

Civilization is not old, and the country will last forever.

I firmly believe that the Chinese dream is not a glamorous body, but a real body full of civilized souls. A cultural connotation emanates from it, and all of us will live with culture, * * climb the Great Wall, * * see the Yangtze River, * * enjoy the West Lake, * * drink Longjing, and * * * draw a picture of Chinese civilization.

Sigh civilization, my dream, Chinese dream.
