Five scenic spots that Wuwei must visit.

Five must-see attractions in Wuwei: Wuwei desert park, Shenzhou Desert Wildlife Park, Baita Temple, Binggou River Scenic Area and Kumarajiva Temple.

I. Wuwei desert park

Wuwei desert park (AAAA level) is located at the edge of Tengger Desert, 22km east of Wuwei City. Built in 1986, covering an area of 12000 mu. It is the earliest park built in the desert in China, and is known as "the first park in the sand sea". Now it has become a tourist attraction integrating desert scenery, grassland customs and elegant gardens, and a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot.

The main attractions are artificial lake, karting yard, Mongolian yurt resort, psammophyte garden, swimming pool, Yuanyang pavilion, racecourse, Taohua pavilion, skating arena, four-wheel drive off-road vehicle field and so on.

Second, China Desert Wildlife Park

Shenzhou Desert Wildlife Park is located in the southern edge of Tengger Desert, Qingyuan Town, Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, covering an area of 1860 mu, with a construction area of 26,000 square meters and a green space rate of 80%. With the theme of "desert, wild and rare", the park features rare wild animals in northwest China and displays 95 kinds of animals. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, integrating animal and plant viewing, popular science education and garden art.

Third, Baita Temple

Baita Temple, also known as Baita Temple, is called Xiazhubadi Temple in Tibetan. It is located in Baita Village, Wu Nan Town, 20 kilometers southeast of Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province. It is one of the four major temples of Tibetan Buddhism in Liangzhou (Baita Temple, Lianhuashan Temple, Haicang Temple and Jinta Temple), a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national education base for national unity and progress, and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Binggou River Scenic Area is located in Qilian Town, Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, 35 kilometers away from Wuwei City. It is an eco-tourism scenic spot that integrates natural scenery such as snow-capped mountains, Tianchi, waterfalls, forests, grasslands and rivers, and integrates sightseeing, leisure vacation, folk customs, Yuan Ye exploration and aerobic exercise.
