What are the cheating 5A scenic spots in China?

I personally feel that most of the 5A-level scenic spots in China are a scam.

Like Tianjin’s Ancient Culture Street, I really don’t know how it was rated as a 5A-level scenic spot. It is really a very sparse and ordinary cultural festival, selling brushes, and not much local characteristics. There is also the Huaqing Pool in Shaanxi. The locals say it is just a big pit and there is nothing interesting about it. There are also places like Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, Yellow Crane Tower, Nanshan Scenic Spot in Sanya, etc. They are either large markets or they charge fees for enclosing land in the name of ancient times.

It is true that there are many excellent tourist attractions that are indeed worth visiting. Some scenic spots are well-done and worth the ticket price. However, in some places, it is true that they place too much emphasis on ticket revenue and forget all basic services.

I think that in many places, all efforts are made to obtain the honor of 5A. However, as a real tourist resort, what needs to be considered is to allow tourists to have a good experience and enrich tourism products. Unfortunately, most scenic spots in China only focus on ticket revenue. If they get 5A or other honors, they can increase their prices. Because the money comes quickly, the risk is low, but this is tantamount to killing the goose that lays the egg. After all the tourists have been slaughtered, word of mouth spreads, and no one will go there in the future. Like Hengdian World Studios in Wuxi, the ticket prices are simply eye-popping.

Italy and China are both countries with the largest number of world heritage sites. Why is the experience in Italy different from the experience at home? Why are there not many tourist attractions in Italy that charge a fee? Even if it's a fee, it's not that scary. If domestic tourism continues like this, it will be equivalent to driving everyone to go abroad.
