I heard from my grandparents and fathers that the clothes people wore thirty years ago were all the same color and style. At that time, you had to buy cloth with a cloth ticket. A small cloth ticket influenced people's pragmatic aesthetics. "Three years for the new, three years for the old, and another three for mending" is people's habit of dressing. The days of pursuing fashion in the 1980s, from "Chenliang" to "polyester card", from green military uniforms, bell-bottom pants to bat shirts and bodybuilding pants. In the 1990s, people wore one-step skirts, tank tops, ripped jeans, and platform shoes. By the 21st century, young people are accustomed to "mixing and matching" to create unique personal clothing. Cheongsam, Tang suit, and Hanfu have also made a comeback, and foreign brands have entered the Chinese market one after another. Thirty years ago, being able to fill one's stomach was everyone's dream, and ordinary people did not care about taste and nutrition, as long as they could eat enough. At that time, what we often ate at home were pickles and vegetables, and we would only buy some meat dishes during festivals. Fruits and candies were simply luxuries. After entering the 21st century, food has become more and more abundant. In supermarkets, there are all kinds of grains and cooked foods, meat, eggs, vegetables, fruits, milk, beverages, etc. People no longer pursue eating well, but begin to pay attention to dietary structure and nutritional matching. The changes on the small dining table confirm the improvement of people's living standards and the great development and progress of society.

Thirty years ago, my grandparents lived in a house allocated by the work unit. There was no natural gas, coal was burned, there was no bathroom, and they used public toilets. Living in crowded places makes life very inconvenient. Six years ago, our family bought a commercial house of more than 150 square meters. There are three bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms, and the decoration is very particular. The home is also equipped with several air conditioners, three TV sets, computers, and telephones... It is a very comfortable stay and a very superior life.

Traveling thirty years ago was very inconvenient. Nowadays, highways, railways and airplanes are very convenient. Every summer, our family goes on a trip. I have been to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Leshan Giant Buddha, Qingcheng Mountain, Dujiangyan, Beijing, Tianjin... We are also planning to go to Qingdao and Dalian this summer!

Thirty years of reform and opening up have brought about a qualitative leap in our lives. I believe that in another thirty years, our motherland and our hometown will fly faster and higher.
