A few days ago, we went to Chengdu to test drive the 12 1km endurance version of BYD Korean DM-I. Unexpectedly, just a few days later, BYD held a test drive meeting of the Genesis Korean EV in Chongqing.

Friends who are familiar with Chongqing and those who are not familiar with Chongqing know that this "mountain city" is full of winding and rugged slopes, and the intricate ups and downs make it easy for local people to get lost; But after all, it is a megacity. Although the road is steep, the smoothness of the road surface is good. In fact, this is also the status quo of various national highways in Tibet and Xinjiang. No longer muddy, even if you travel by car, you can completely hold it.

Then, as an e-commerce company selling outdoor camping equipment, it will definitely introduce the theme at this moment-is Korean EV suitable for long-distance travel?

Previously, we have released the dynamic evaluation video of BYD Korean DM-i. Although the dynamics of Korean DM-I and Korean EV are different, they are homologous after all, and there are too many similarities between the two cars. This paper will focus on the differences between them and the differences between the created Korean EV and the old Korean EV.

The appearance of Korean EV Genesis Edition is not much different from that of the old one. The front face is almost the same, and the Genesis Edition air intake curtain and front bumper are fine-tuned. The tail has completely changed. Visible to the naked eye, the rear bumper style and penetrating taillights have higher values. However, if the old car owner also wants to switch to Genesis taillights, he really has to think about it-because the sheet metal parts in the rear half of the whole car body are newly formed, and even the charging port position has moved from the previous left to the right. Even if a new taillight assembly is found in the seafood market, there is no way to replace the flat panel.

In addition to the Genesis edition, there is also a limited edition of Korean EV money on display. According to the actual measurement when entering the tunnel, the HUD of Korean EV Genesis Edition can automatically adjust the brightness according to the external light.

Users can choose one-piece sports seats and dragon scale split seats by themselves. If you continue to choose the split seat, two people press the headrest button and poke the pinhole with a fine needle to take out the headrest. At this time, the seat can be connected to the back row when it is minimized, and self-driving camping can be used as a "bed car". Qian Shan Cuiping can only choose one-piece seats, and it is impossible to take down the headrest.

In order to better meet the long-distance self-driving travel scene, we specially chose the 7 15km version with longer battery life. It is worth noting that the 7 15km battery life here is CLTC, which is not a standard with the previous NEDC 605km battery life and cannot be directly subtracted. We just need to know that the battery capacity has increased from 76.9kWh to 85.4kWh.

Because of the weather, we didn't go back and forth 400km to the scenic spots in the suburbs of Chongqing like other media, but returned to the starting point after half a week around the city, so we didn't have much time to drive at high speed, but there were more roads in the city and Panshan Road.

In the aimless test drive with a total distance of about 80km, after many times of driving modes of different media teachers in the same car and switching at will for no reason, plus a lonely 22-warm air conditioner, the final apparent energy consumption is about 15.6kWh/ 100km. According to the simple violence conversion without universal significance, the 7 15km version of the car is in go on road trip, where there are many national roads, towns and Panshan Road.

The legendary DiSus-C intelligent electronic control active suspension is only equipped on four-wheel drive models, and the 7 15km two-wheel drive version we are driving now does not exist. However, compared with the old models, the Han EV Genesis Edition is equipped with an aluminum alloy suspension system based on the former McPherson+rear multi-link, including the front aluminum alloy swing arm/steering knuckle suspension and the rear aluminum alloy traction arm/control arm/steering knuckle suspension.

Thanks to the material or brand-new training, the overall chassis texture of the two-wheel drive version of Korean EV Chuangshi Edition has been improved to a certain extent, and the chassis is more solid and thick, and the vibration filtering treatment for subdivided roads is more crisp, but this is more obvious when riding in the back row. When driving in the front row, whether it is steering feel, acceleration or kinetic energy recovery, there is little difference between the old models.

The improvement brought by suspension can be more directly reflected in the four-wheel drive model. DiSus-C can adjust the hardness of four kinds of suspension in advance according to the road conditions. When the mountain passes through the curve, the inner wheel becomes soft and the outer wheel becomes hard, providing better support and reducing the roll. In a word, this kind of "intelligent electronic active suspension" brings more comfort and safety than the outdoor camping passability brought by air suspension.

Korean EV Genesis Edition comes standard with 6kW VtoL external release function, which is called outdoor camping artifact. Compared with the past 3.3kW, the power has almost doubled, and more and bigger camping appliances can also be installed. Because it is not convenient to find more exaggerated electrical appliances to test the unified formation test drive, we borrowed a kettle from the hotel to shoot POSS. The discharge consumption of a kettle is only 0. 1kWh, which shows that 6kW can only be described as "saturated output".

In the production version, the external discharge gun has also been upgraded, replaced by a thicker square wire, and plugged in 250V 32A. At the same time, three groups of independent control sockets are provided.

In addition to external discharge, the 7 15KM flagship model of this test drive is also equipped with 2kW 220V in-vehicle discharge under the rear seat. The 7 15KM premium model does not have this configuration, and the 6 10KM four-wheel drive premium model needs additional matching.

Different from the previously tested Korean DM-i, Korean EV Genesis Edition did not see the secondary menu of "discharge setting" in the "new energy" catalogue controlled by DiLink4.0. "Self-starting engine with low battery capacity" has no meaning for pure electric vehicles. This function can indeed be cancelled, but the setting of "remaining time of single discharge" has also disappeared, which is really incomprehensible. Electric vehicles should plan the external discharge capacity in advance.

The newly launched Korean EV Genesis Edition provides two configurations, four-wheel drive provides one configuration, and Qian Limited Edition is the only child. In addition, the 506km/605km luxury models currently on sale will continue to be sold, and the Korean EV family * * * has six configuration versions to choose from.

Pure electric camping, 7 15KM flagship model with longer battery life and on-board discharge function will be the recommended first choice. The reason why the 6 10km four-wheel drive exclusive model is only 1 100 yuan more expensive than the 7 15KM flagship model is to control the price within the subsidy line of 300,000 yuan, and many comfortable configurations have become optional. If you are not interested in Napa leather seats, Brembo four-piston calipers, etc. It is equivalent to spending the same price as the flagship model of the old man EV four-wheel drive high-performance version. At this time, you can install an additional 20,000 yuan enjoyment package, which can meet the subsidy and complete the configuration at one time.
