The shooting locations of the online drama Detective Chinatown 2 include Dongguan City and Taishan City in Guangdong Province.

In Dongguan, some scenes were shot in the film and television tourist area of Longfeng Mountain Villa in Dongguan. The play is a sequel to the online drama Detective Chinatown, which includes four suspense reasoning units: angel's melody, devil's breath, amusement park and Huang Jincheng. This film tells the story of detectives Maureen (Roy Chiu) and Kiko (Shang Yuxian) crossing the mysterious world.
