Why don't Lintong people say they are from Xi 'an?

Lintong people don't say they are from Xi 'an, mainly because of psychological factors.

1. Because the traditional city dwellers in Xi 'an refer to the six districts of the city: Weiyang, Xincheng, Lianhu, Baqiao, Beilin and Yanta. Almost all of these six districts are non-agricultural people, and they are well-deserved city dwellers in Xi 'an.

2. Lintong District has no industry itself, Huaqingchi and Terracotta Warriors are directly under the province, and most of the whole district is agricultural population. The GDP and GDP per capita in the whole district are very different from those in the urban area, and the infrastructure and environmental conditions in the whole district are completely different from those in the urban area.

3. In the traditional impression, people in Xi 'an are city dwellers, while people in Lintong District, although belonging to Xi 'an, feel nothing like Xi 'an city dwellers. Because of this obstacle in their hearts, they don't say they are Xi 'an people, but they say they are Lintong people.
