The scenic spots in Langzhong City include Langzhong Ancient City, Tiangong Yuan Feng Shui Cultural Scenic Area, Langzhong Jinping, Tiangong Yuan Wulong Resort and Langzhong Red Army Martyrs Memorial Park. Langzhong, formerly known as Baoning, is a county-level city managed by Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. Located in the northern edge of Sichuan Basin, the middle and upper reaches of Jialing River, the southern foot of Qinba Mountain, surrounded by mountains and water.
It is adjacent to Bazhong City and Yilong County in the east, nanbu county in the south, Jiange County in the west and Cangxi County in the north. For more than 2,000 years, it has been a key point and military town of Bashu. Langzhong has been the political, economic, cultural, educational and commercial center of northern Sichuan since Langzhou was upgraded to Baoning Prefecture in Yuan Dynasty.
There are two mountain systems in Langzhong: Bashan in the east of Jialing River and Jianmen Mountain in the west. The two mountain ranges branch in Langzhong City, respectively, from northwest to south and northeast to southwest, forming a weir-tail trough-shaped terrain and a multi-stage terrace terrain with high east-west and low middle, which are in the transition zone from low mountains in northern Sichuan to hills in central Sichuan.
The highest point is Ma 'anshan in Longquan Town, with an altitude of 888.8 meters, and the lowest point is Jialing River section of Maoerjing in Zhu Zhen Township, with an altitude of 328 meters. There are flat dams, low mountains, high hills, low mountains, terraces and mountain plains, mainly low mountains and a few hills with dams.
The main river in China is Jialing River, which flows from north to south through 13 towns such as Shizi Township and Baoning Town, with a total transit length of 59.45 kilometers. There are four tributaries of Jialing River, such as Baixi, Donghe, Gouxi and Xihe, which join Jialing River in Jiangnan Town, Wencheng Town, Hexi Town and nanbu county Dingshui Town respectively.
