Dalu Island is located in Dagushan Town, Donggang City, Liaoning Province, surrounded by the sea. The west sea area is connected to Zhuanghe and Dalian, and the east sea area is converging with Dadong Port and Yalu River in Dandong.

Dalu Island has always been the fortress of the Liaodong Peninsula. During the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1894, the Yellow Sea War broke out in Dalu Island. National heroes Deng Shichang, Zhiyuan and other 700 soldiers and 4 warships sank in Dalu Island, where Deng Shichang's tomb and statue of Deng Shichang were discovered.
