Why is Bazhai Scenic Area closed?

Danxia Mountain is the only world natural heritage site in Guangdong Province and a national nature reserve. In order to implement the spirit of the important decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the construction of ecological civilization and the documents of ten ministries and commissions such as the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and effectively strengthen and standardize the management of nature reserves, according to the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Nature Reserves and other relevant laws, regulations and policies, relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

From 1.20 17, 12 and 1, Bazhai Scenic Area will be closed, any tourism activities in Bazhai will be stopped, and ecological restoration will be implemented.

2. No unit or individual may enter the core area. If it is really necessary to enter the scientific research, it is necessary to submit an application and activity plan to the nature reserve management institution in advance, and report it to the Danxiashan National Nature Reserve Management Bureau in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, and it can only be carried out after being approved by the administrative department of the nature reserve of the provincial people's government.

Three, it is forbidden to carry out tourism and production and business activities in the buffer zone. Approved by the nature reserve management agency, you can enter the buffer zone to engage in nondestructive scientific research, teaching practice and specimen collection activities.

Four, all units and individuals entering the protected area should consciously accept the supervision and management of the protected area management agencies. Violation of the above provisions shall be punished according to relevant laws and regulations, and criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law if the case constitutes a crime.

Five, this notice shall come into force as of 20 17 12 1 day.
