Okay, now we are going to head to the destination of today's tour - the Yellow Crane Tower.

The Double Ninth Festival has just passed in September. We know that the Chinese nation has always had a tradition of climbing high to express feelings. Therefore, tall pavilions built in mountains, lakes and rivers with beautiful scenery and broad vision have become the best places to watch and recite poetry in ancient times, such as the Yueyang Tower by Dongting Lake, the Tengwang Pavilion on the bank of the Gan River in Nanchang, and ours The Yellow Crane Tower is famous for its magnificent scale, complex architectural structure and peculiar roof shape, and is known as the "Three Famous Towers in Jiangnan". The Yellow Crane Tower ranks first on the third floor because of its long history and majestic appearance.

But when the Yellow Crane Tower was built, it was not for viewing the scenery. In the second year of Wu Huangwu in the Three Kingdoms period, which was 223 AD, in order to achieve "ruling the country with force and prospering", Sun Quan built a tower on Snake Mountain on the edge of the Yangtze River to watch the military situation. This was the predecessor of the Yellow Crane Tower. Later, the war passed, and the Yellow Crane Tower gradually became a good place for people to visit mountains and rivers. In particular, several literati from the Tang Dynasty left very special traces on the history of Yellow Crane Tower. Can anyone guess who they are? There is "People in the past have gone on the Yellow Crane, and the Yellow Crane Tower is empty here. The Yellow Crane will never return, and the white clouds will be empty for thousands of years..." By the way, this is Cui Hao's, and it is probably the most famous poem about the Yellow Crane Tower. . Then there is another poem, "An old friend bids farewell to the Yellow Crane Tower in the west. Fireworks descend from Yangzhou in March. The shadow of the solitary sail is gone in the blue sky, and only the Yangtze River can be seen flowing in the sky." This was written by Li Bai. Speaking of the two of them, there is an interesting story. It is said that not long after Cui Hao wrote poems at the Yellow Crane Tower, Li Bai also came to the Yellow Crane Tower. Li Bai was a bold and romantic poet. He climbed to the Yellow Crane Tower and watched the Yangtze River flowing eastward. He became very popular in poetry and was about to write a poem. But just when he was about to write a poem, he suddenly saw Cui Hao's poem. He felt that Cui Hao's poems were so good that if he wrote them again, he would ruin his reputation for the rest of his life. So Li Bai wrote a limerick and then left. "Break the Yellow Crane Tower with one punch, knock over the Parrot Island with one kick. There is a beautiful scenery in front of you, so Cui Hao wrote a poem on it!" After hearing this poem, everyone can also know that in the face of such beautiful scenery, he did not write a good poem. Poetry, Li Bai must have felt very melancholy in his heart. So I always hope that one day I can compete with Cui Hao. Later, his good friend Meng Haoran was going to Yangzhou and came to the Yellow Crane Tower. When they were leaving, he reluctantly wrote a farewell poem with passion, which is "An old friend bids farewell to the Yellow Crane Tower in the west." This poem describes the majestic Yellow Crane Tower and the artistic conception of climbing high and looking into the distance very beautifully. It was a blockbuster and became an eternal masterpiece. Poetry critics commented that among the thousands of poems describing the Yellow Crane Tower, Cui Hao's Seven Rhymes - Climbing the Yellow Crane Tower and Li Bai's Seven Unique - The Yellow Crane Tower Sends Meng Haoran to Guangling, can be said to be tied for first place. This is the famous story in history that Cui Hao wrote a poem, and Li Bai put down his pen, which led to Li Bai and Cui Hao competing for poetry, and finally won the tie for first place, making the Yellow Crane Tower famous throughout the ages. Later, some good people built Li Bai's "pen-holding pavilion" on the east side of the Yellow Crane Tower. Now there is Cui Hao's poem wall in Yellow Crane Tower Park, opposite Li Bai's pen-resting pavilion.

As for the origin of the name of Yellow Crane Tower, there are two theories: it was named after an immortal or it was named after a mountain.

A long time ago, there was a man named Xin who sold wine to make a living on the top of Huanghu Mountain. One day, a ragged old man stumbled over and asked him for a drink. Although Xin's business was small and profitable, he was loyal, kind and charitable. Seeing that the old man was pitiful, he generously agreed. After drinking and eating, the old Taoist thanked Mr. Xin very much. From now on, Lao Dao will come every day, and Xin will always respond to requests. Before I knew it, a year had passed. One day, the old Taoist came to the hotel again. When Xin saw him, he hurriedly prepared wine and food to entertain the old Taoist. The old Taoist stopped him and said, "I won't drink today. I came to say goodbye to you." He also said that if you drink alcohol every day, if you have nothing to say as a thank you, just paint a painting for your hotel to commemorate it. After saying that, the old Taoist picked up the orange peel on the ground and started to draw on the wall. After a while, he painted a crane. Since the orange peel is yellow, the crane is also yellow. After finishing the painting, the old Taoist said to Mrs. Xin: As long as you clap your hands, the yellow crane will come down and dance for the drinkers. When Mrs. Xin heard this, she was very happy. She saw that the crane painted by the old Taoist was lifelike and very beautiful. He turned around to express his gratitude to Lao Dao for painting such a good picture of his hotel, but Lao Dao had disappeared. The next day, a guest came to the hotel. He remembered what the Taoist said and clapped his hands to try. The yellow crane actually jumped down, shouted loudly, danced, and then jumped back to the wall after dancing. The guests were very interesting to watch. After the news spread, people from three towns in Wuhan and tourists from far and near came to the store to watch the yellow crane dance. From then on, the hotel business prospered, and Xin made a fortune. One day ten years later, the old man appeared in the hotel again and asked Xin: "I wonder if the money you earned in the past ten years has paid off my alcohol debt?" Xin hurriedly said: "Thank you very much. I am very rich now." ." The old Taoist laughed loudly and took off the iron flute he was wearing.

He played a wonderful tune to the yellow crane on the wall. The yellow crane heard the sound and came down, singing and dancing to the sound of the flute. After playing the song, I saw the old Taoist step on the yellow crane and fly away. From then on, the old man never came back. In order to commemorate Lao Dao and his Yellow Crane, Xin Shi used his savings over the years to build a tall building next to the hotel and named it Yellow Crane Tower. For thousands of years, this story has been widely spread in our country and has become the most influential legend that the Yellow Crane Tower was named after an immortal.

However, after research, it is most true that the Yellow Crane Tower was named after the mountain. The Snake Mountain where the Yellow Crane Tower is located is composed of seven mountains arranged from east to west and connected end to end. From west to east there are Huanghu Mountain, Yinjia Mountain, etc., with a total length of more than 2,000 meters. It looks like a crouching snake, so it is named Snake Mountain. . The Yellow Crane Tower is built on the top of Huanghu Mountain. In ancient Chinese, the two words "swan" and "crane" are common, so it is also called Huanghe Mountain. The pavilion on Huanghe Mountain is of course named Yellow Crane Tower.

Dear tourists, we have arrived at the Yellow Crane Tower. The Yellow Crane Tower we see now was actually rebuilt after liberation. In the past, due to wars and other reasons, the Yellow Crane Tower was built and abandoned many times. The last "Qing Tower" was built in the seventh year of Tongzhi (1868 AD) and destroyed in the tenth year of Guangxu (1884 AD). It has not been rebuilt for nearly a hundred years since then. It was not until October 1981 that the Yellow Crane Tower reconstruction project broke ground and was completed in June 1985. The main building is modeled on the Tongzhi Building of the Qing Dynasty, but it uses modern construction techniques. It not only loses the unique shape of the windows of the Yellow Crane Tower, but is also more majestic than the old buildings of the past dynasties.

The rebuilt Yellow Crane Tower left its original site due to the construction of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. It was built on the west slope of Gaoguan Mountain at the western end of Snake Mountain, about one thousand meters away from the river. Although it is much further away from the Yangtze River than its former location, because the ground elevation of the building is more than 30 meters higher than the river surface, and because the mountain is taller and the building is taller, it is majestic and has a wide view, the momentum is actually better than that of the old building. The Yellow Crane Tower complex consists of the main building, auxiliary pavilions, corridors, archways, etc., distributed on a three-story platform, rising layer by layer along the central axis. The first platform is the west gate of Yellow Crane Tower Park, with the Shengxiang Pagoda in the center. The archway on the second floor platform is the "Sanchu First Floor" archway I just mentioned. On both sides are winding corridors and north and south pavilions. We can see that on the huge stone between the two pavilions is a group of bronze sculptures of the return of the yellow crane. One stands looking into the distance; the other lowers its head to look for food, standing on top of the turtle and giant snake, which means that the yellow crane has returned to the place where the turtle and snake confront each other. In the center of the third floor platform stands the Yellow Crane Tower. There are five layers of cornices, and there are actually nine layers inside, which means eternity, or eternity. There are large murals, couplets and cultural relics arranged on each floor of the building. We can take a closer look inside in a moment. Climbing the tower and looking into the distance, you can have a panoramic view of the three towns, and you can also feel the feelings of the ancients.

Okay, after talking so much, everyone must be eager to experience it. We will disband here first and everyone can visit freely. Still gathering here two hours later. I hope you all have fun, but I also want to remind you not to be too happy and lose track of time.
