Yicheng belongs to Xiangyang City, Hubei Province.

Yicheng is located in the northwest of Hubei Province, on the middle reaches of the Han River. It borders Suizhou and Zaoyang in the east, Zhongxiang and Jingmen in the south, Nanzhang in the west, and Xiangyang in the north. It is located at 111°57′-112°45′ east longitude and 31°26′-31°54′ north latitude. It is 76 kilometers long from east to west and 53 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of ??2115 square kilometers.

Yicheng has a long history. Xia is the country of Siyang. In the Zhou Dynasty, it was the land of Luo and Yan. In the Spring and Autumn Period, it merged with Chu and became the three cities of Si'an, Yan and Yan. In 1983, the Xiangyang area merged with Xiangfan City, Yicheng was transferred to Xiangfan City, and the county government was located in Chengguan Town.
