3. Silk Xuan Xuan Juan

Si Xian Xuan Juan is a traditional folk art in Zhouzhuang that has been circulating for nearly 200 years. It is a unique form of folk art in Zhouzhuang countryside. It is similar to the name of a hall, and also has the style of rap and pingtan. Depending on the number of artists and the complexity and simplicity of the performance, Xuanjuan can be divided into two types: silk string Xuanjuan and wooden fish Xuanjuan. The former generally consists of a team of six people who play instruments such as erhu, three-stringed strings, flutes, wooden fish, and bronze chimes; the other person plays the Buddha chime, chants the Buddha's name, and rolls the scroll. The form is simple.
