Tulagi is the eastern port of Solomon Islands, located on the south bank of Florida Island, north of Honiara, the capital, with a maximum intake of 6.1m and a circumference of 5km. tulagi is a natural shelter. On the east side of the island, there are two small islands: Gaoutu Island and Tanambogo Island, which guard Tulaji Island like two sentries.
tulagi was once the administrative seat of the British Solomon Islands Protected Area. It was destroyed by the Japanese army in 1942 and liberated by the American army on August 7th of the same year. To commemorate this victory, the United States named a Casablanca-class escort carrier for Tujira. The narrow strait between the island and Florida Island is an excellent harbor, and both import and export goods need to pass through it, which can be said to be one of the lifeblood of Solomon Islands.

Coral Sea is the largest marginal sea in the world. Coral Sea is a part of the sea area between Irian Island and Solomon Islands, covering an area of 4.791 million square kilometers, equivalent to half of the land area of China. Coral Sea is located in the southwest Pacific Ocean, with an average depth of 2,243 meters, and the deepest New Hebri Trench is 9,175 meters. To the west is Australia; To the east are New Caledonia and Vanuatu; Northwest Solomon Islands; To the north is New Guinea, which is famous in the world because of the US-Japan Coral Sea Campaign in World War II.
There are coral islands in the Coral Sea, which are named after a large number of coral reefs. The world-famous Great Barrier Reef is located in this sea area. Like the city barrier, the Torres Strait, not far south of the Tropic of Cancer, stretches for 2,4 kilometers from north to south and 2-15 kilometers from east to west, with a total area of 8, square kilometers. It is the largest coral in the world. It used to be the world of corals, leaving behind the largest barrier reef in the world.
There are many atolls and coral platforms scattered on the vast sea surface, like beautiful flowers and stars, hence the name Coral Sea. On the continental shelf and shoal, based on the islands and submarine mountains close to the sea, huge coral groups have developed, forming mottled coral reefs embedded in the blue sea, forming a magnificent picture.
On the whole, this Solomon Islands is really beautiful. Although there were not many tourists here before, I believe there will be more and more in the future!
