To apply for traveling to Hong Kong and Macao for the first time, you must go to the entry-exit permit hall of the District Public Security Bureau where your household registration is located in person.

Application material

1. Original and photocopy of ID card;

2. The original and photocopy of the household registration book;

3. The copy is A4 (the ID card needs to be copied on both sides, and the household registration book needs to be copied on the home page and the page where I am located);

4. Two-inch bareheaded plane color recent photo with white background and dark collared coat. The photo size is 48X33mm, the head width is 2 1-24mm, and the head length is 28-33 mm;

5. Original and photocopy of the full invoice issued by the regular travel company.

Visa processing

Residents of Guangdong Province and 23 mainland cities (namely, Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing, Chengdu, Jinan, Shenyang, Dalian, Nanchang, Changsha, Nanning, Haikou, Guiyang and Kunming) who want to visit Hong Kong as individuals must obtain relevant permits from the mainland public security organs.

Treatment process

1. Accepting organ: the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the county (district) where the household registration is located.

2. Submit the completed Application Form for Mainland Residents' Travel Permit to Hong Kong and Macao 1 copy (filled in with pen or signature pen, not ballpoint pen), and print the receipt and 1 digital optical photo with the photo studio.

3. Submit the original ID card and household registration book (the applicant is under the age of 16, just submit the household registration book; Soldiers only need to submit proof of identity and a copy.

4. Hold a valid travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and submit a travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao.

5. Persons who have been notified by the public security department to leave the country for the record shall submit their opinions according to the cadre management authority when handling travel permits to and from Hong Kong and Macao and personal travel endorsements. Other personnel do not need to submit the opinions of the unit or the police station.

Processing time limit

First application for entry and exit permit and visa to and from Hong Kong and Macao: 15 working days;

Matters needing attention

(a) with a personal travel endorsement, you can leave the country for Hong Kong and Macao with your own documents within the validity period, without joining a tour group.

(2) When applying for endorsement, please ensure that the validity of the passport to and from Hong Kong and Macao exceeds the validity of the application for endorsement for more than 20 days.

(3) An applicant shall not hold two or more valid passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao at the same time, nor shall he hold two or more valid endorsements to the same destination at the same time.

(4) Please fill in with a pen or signature pen, not a ballpoint pen. Copy on A4 paper.

(5) If the applicant is under the age of 16 or has reached the age of 60, the client may apply on his behalf. /kloc-under the age of 0/6, they must be accompanied or represented by a guardian, and submit the guardian's ID card and relationship certificate.

In the same acceptance department, those who apply for visiting relatives again with the same travel permit to Hong Kong and Macao may apply on their behalf by the client.

(6) If the applicant chooses to collect the pass by express mail, he must carefully fill in the column of "delivery address, recipient, postal code and contact telephone number" in the application form. If postal courier is selected, the courier company will charge 15 yuan/piece.

(7) With the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, cities that exercise policy control over the acceptance, approval and issuance of passes and endorsements to and from Hong Kong and Macao shall examine and approve the issuance of passes and endorsements for visiting relatives in accordance with regulatory measures. Policy control measures are announced to the public.

(8) Mainland residents going to Hong Kong and Macao shall strictly abide by the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration and relevant laws of Hong Kong and Macao. Any violation of the above laws will be investigated and dealt with according to law. For those who violate local laws, illegally reside, illegally obtain employment or cheat during their stay in Hong Kong and Macao, the exit-entry administration department of the public security shall, in accordance with relevant regulations, no longer approve their exit applications within two to five years.

(9) Mainland residents who leave the country through Shenzhen or Zhuhai port with Hong Kong and Macao Pass may apply to Shenzhen or Zhuhai Entry-Exit Visa Office of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Bureau for the same endorsement if they find that the endorsement information on the certificate is wrong.

(10) Mainland residents who have lost or damaged their entry and exit passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao may apply to the Shenzhen or Zhuhai Entry and Exit Visa Office of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Bureau for entry and exit passes to return to the Mainland through China travel agencies in Hong Kong or Macao.

Required information: scanned copy of Hong Kong and Macao Pass+scanned copy of front and back of ID card+scanned copy of household registration book and personal page+electronic version of 2-inch color photo with blue background and white background in Beijing area; Title, name and age of main family members (parents, husband and wife, children, brothers and sisters) in Hainan should be provided.

Inform the interview time after the audit, and bring the original ID card/household registration book/pass with you during the interview. 7- 15 After the interview, the time depends on the speed of the applicant's household registration reply.
