The total tourism revenue for the year was 4.69 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year. The comprehensive contribution of the national tourism industry to GDP is 8.19 trillion yuan, accounting for 11.01% of the total GDP. Tourism directly employed 28.13 million people, and tourism directly and indirectly employed 79.62 million people, accounting for 10.26% of the total employed population in the country.
