Key scenic spots in China

The definition of national key scenic spots is based on the Regulations on Scenic Spots promulgated by the State Council, People's Republic of China (PRC) on September 19, 2006 and implemented since February 1 2006. The scenic spots in Chinese mainland are of ornamental, cultural or scientific value, with concentrated natural and cultural landscapes and beautiful environment, which can be used for people to visit or conduct scientific research. Scenic spots are divided into national-level scenic spots and provincial-level scenic spots. Among them, natural landscapes and humanistic landscapes can reflect important natural changes and major historical and cultural development processes, and are basically in a natural state or maintain their original historical features. They are representative in the country and can apply for the establishment of national-level scenic spots and report them to the State Council for approval and promulgation. By the end of 2009, there were 208 national-level scenic spots on the list of the seventh batch (renamed as China national-level scenic spots since the seventh batch).

The first batch:1982165438+1announced on October 8th, with 44 places.

The English name of China National Scenic Area is China National Park. "

According to the definition in the chapter of China People's Congress and the national standard GB50298- 1999: Planning Terminology of Scenic Spots, national scenic spots (formerly known as "national key scenic spots") are equivalent to "overseas national parks" in the classification of protected areas system.

1The emblem of China National Scenic Area, which was used daily from September 3, 990 to April 2, 2007, and the emblem pattern of National Scenic Area, which is commonly used at present (since April 3, 2007), also reflects this point, and the upper part of its circular pattern is "China National Park" (literally translated as "China National Park"); The lower part is "China National Scenic Area" in Chinese (the old emblem is "China National Scenic Area").

But in 2008, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the National Tourism Administration established the title of national park. [Edit this paragraph] List of national key scenic spots (renamed China National Scenic Spot after the seventh batch)
