geographic information science (English: Geo-information Science, abbreviated as MGI) The main courses of this major include the collection, storage, analysis and visualization of spatial information data. Students learn theories and techniques about GIS, remote sensing and photogrammetry, and the collection, processing and analysis of geographic information data. Through the study of this major, students learn, master and develop the application of spatial information technology and models in natural science. The main research in the professional field includes spatial data sharing, spatial data modeling, spatial information visualization and remote sensing technology. The main courses include: introduction of geographic information science, geographic information tools, remote sensing technology, spatial data sharing, spatial model and geostatistics, comprehensive application of remote sensing and GIS, and research methods of environmental science.
