How much does it cost to go to go on road trip in Xinjiang?
The expenses for going to road trip are only the following: food, accommodation, transportation, playing (tickets) and miscellaneous expenses. I will report them separately.
1, food and beverage
Actually, we have to go on the road when driving out, but it is our habit in China to eat first. We are two people (husband and wife) on the trip, not an RV or a sleeper (we don't cook by ourselves). We all go to restaurants, eat local specialties and stay in hotels. It is neither a luxury tour nor a poverty tour, but a popular road tour.
Because we are past the age of knowing destiny, we haven't eaten dinner for several years for good health. As for the reason why you can't be healthy without dinner, you can go online and search, so I won't go into details here. So we eat two meals a day, breakfast and lunch, dried fruit for dinner, and so on. Going out to road trip is the same way of life, but as we all know, driving to road trip at noon is the most common way, so we eat dry food in the car at noon.
In this way, it takes 35 days from departure to return, and it costs 3304 yuan to eat, with an average of 94.4 yuan per day. There is a reason why this meal is not expensive. Xinjiang cuisine mainly includes hand-grabbed rice, mixed noodles, hand-grabbed mutton, mutton skewers, leg of lamb, mutton hot pot, steamed stuffed buns, naan cakes and so on. These foods are really delicious.
But as you can see, these delicacies are mainly meat, with a high content of fat and protein. It's okay to have a meal or two. I'm afraid I can't stand it for a few days. You still have to restrain yourself. No wonder Xinjiang is full of super fat people over 40 years old, regardless of gender.
Therefore, we eat vegetarian food every once in a while to keep a balance. The most expensive is 270 yuan, a beef hotpot in Tashkurgan County, and the cheapest is the meal of 20 yuan in Nalati Town for a few days. Why do we only eat 20 yuan every day? This meeting is related to the itinerary and will be explained in the "line" below.
The low cost of food in Xinjiang is also a big surprise for us. Before the trip, I learned that there are many delicious foods in Xinjiang, and the food price is higher than that in the mainland. Unexpectedly, our expenditure in this respect is far lower than that in other parts of China. In other parts of China, the average daily meal fee is 130 to 150 yuan, but it is lower than 100 yuan in Xinjiang, and the total cost is 3,304 yuan.
So far, apart from Tibet and Taiwan Province Province, I have traveled all over the country, leaving Sichuan to talk about food is totally ungrounded.
Here, I recommend some delicious foods for everyone to taste: hand-grabbed mutton, mutton skewers, and beef/mutton hot pot. South is a must. Buy a medium-sized naan, which tastes good. Don't buy too big, it's not very delicious. Have a light meal.
We have never slept in road trip. We have stayed in the car all day during the day and curled up in the car to sleep at night. I don't think this is a trip, but a flight. Our accommodation standards are mainly domestic mid-range chain hotels, such as * Feng, * An and other rooms are clean and tidy, beds and quilts are comfortable, and the price is appropriate.
In some places in China, we have stayed in hotels with historical feelings regardless of the price, such as State Guesthouse, Pingping Hotel, Bird's Nest Holiday Paradise and so on. The accommodation fee is 65,438+0,800 to 2,400 yuan per night, because I think traveling includes experiencing historical and emotional attractions, buildings and hotels, which is the experience and significance of life.
Some places still live in homestays and inns. The total accommodation cost of this trip to Xinjiang is 6228 yuan, with an average of 183 yuan per day, including several days' accommodation in the farm house of Nalati Town, which is related to the "trip". Let's talk about it in the "itinerary". This time, a website actually compensated me for one day's accommodation 198.
The reason is that there is no room in the hotel I booked, but the website accepted my room rate and paid the bill. Later, my room rate was refunded and I was compensated according to the set room rate. I am a diamond customer of a reputable website, and I have booked rooms and air tickets on this website for more than ten years.
Therefore, there are advantages in price, date change, temporary check-out, room priority upgrade and so on. The most expensive one-night accommodation in Xinjiang is 336 yuan, which is a hotel with ethnic characteristics and Uygur customs in Turpan. Because there are no hotels with special historical significance in Xinjiang, the accommodation cost is not high.
Step 2 stay in a hotel
We took a bus from Dujiangyan, Sichuan. The car is a German brand SUV, 2.0T, full-time four-wheel drive. It has been 1 1 year, and the mileage at the time of departure is 193000 km. I dare to drive such an old car so far away from Xinjiang because all my cars are maintained by myself. If there are any questions, I am very clear.
Except for the three northeastern provinces and Hainan Island, which used to be taxi tours, all other places are open. It's like going to Tang Sanzang for nothing. My wife can't drive and doesn't have a driver's license. I drive around by myself.
Set out on May 28th, and return to Dujiangyan in July 1, lasting 35 days, with a total mileage of 12563 km. We entered Xinjiang through the Star Canyon in Hami, Gansu, arrived in Urumqi, and then went north to the world ghost town scenic spot in Karamay. Because the most beautiful season in Kanas Lake is autumn, it is totally meaningless to go in summer, so we didn't go north. After the ghost town, we went south to Kuitun, then west to Yili and crossed the Guozigou Bridge.
The beautiful scenery of Xinjiang is on the road, and you can see the grassland scenery without entering the scenic spot. There are grasslands outside the scenic spot and grasslands inside the scenic spot. We met several tourists who complained that a scenic spot charged a ticket of 300 yuan for one person, and the scenery we saw was not as good as that outside. Because I chatted with netizens on the Internet before I left, I learned more after I went to Xinjiang, so I didn't go to the scenic spot that charged high-priced tickets, saving a lot of ticket fees.
According to the Internet, the Dooku Highway was opened to traffic on June 13, and we arrived in Nalati Town on June 12. We originally planned to take the northern section of Dooku Highway and then the southern section of Dooku Highway to southern Xinjiang, but we got a new notice that the northern section (Dushanzi area) and the southern section (Kuqa) 16 were opened to traffic, and then all of them were opened to traffic. All right.
Just wait in the town of Narati. I will find a farmhouse in Nalati town to stay and negotiate with my boss. Because I want to stay for four days, the daily accommodation fee is 1 10 yuan. This farmhouse has a very good environment, with a large yard, many vegetables and flowers, a coffee table for drinking tea and enjoying the cool, and a swing hammock and a parking lot in the huge yard. Of course, this is not a problem.
Picking vegetables and cooking in the vegetable field in the yard every day feels completely different from eating fresh vegetables grown in the farmhouse. Of course, the accommodation in the farmhouse is not as good as that in the hotel, and the basic facilities are available. This farmhouse is very clean, but we are afraid that there will be group members living in it. When there are too many people, we yell at each other, regardless of others. This is the quality of some people, and everyone knows it.
I've been here for four days, and 580 yuan is left to pay the bill. Because we pick vegetables and cook, the boss only gives us 20 yuan at a time. This is the price of conscience. The boss is really nice. My brother is a tourist and has traveled all over Xinjiang.
I asked him if there was anything unclear. Looking back on my trip to Xinjiang, I found that this younger brother is the most suitable. He has a super good attitude, high quality and rich knowledge. He must visit their yard again when he goes to Xinjiang next time. What a surprise to live in this farmhouse this time!
15 was informed that 16 could not be opened to traffic due to the collapse of a snow cave in the northern section of Dooku Highway. In desperation, I had to take the 2 17 national road to bypass Korla and then go to Kuqa, although I walked for four days in vain.
But the car and I both got a rest and got to know the kind people in this farmhouse. This is really worth it! Some netizens who want to repair in Nalati town want to know about this farmhouse, but you can trust me privately, so I won't say it publicly here, lest everyone think I am the trustee.
It is divided into fuel fee and expressway fee. I drove 12563 kilometers, and the fuel cost was 6522.22 yuan, 0.52 yuan per kilometer. My old car is real.
The total toll expenditure in expressway is 2744.34 yuan, with an average of 0.22 yuan per kilometer, including all highway miles of expressway, national highway, provincial highway, county road and township road. Why take county roads and township roads? I explained it in another article. If you want to know, you can search my other article. Expressway charges in Xinjiang are lower than those in the mainland, about 0.35 yuan per kilometer. In the same way.
3. Transportation expenses
Tickets to seven scenic spots in Xinjiang, Ghost Town, Sailimu Lake and Tianshan Grand Canyon, cost 822 yuan. The low ticket consumption is due to the impassability of the northern section of Dooku Highway, which affects the trip. I didn't blindly follow the trend to see the grassland scenic spot at a high price, nor did I go to Kanas Lake. Next time I go, I still have to walk. You always have to pay your debts and spend money.
4. Play and play
This part includes buying snacks, drinking water, souvenirs and so on. What needs to be explained here is that we didn't buy local fruits in Xinjiang, because the temperature difference between day and night in Xinjiang is very large, the sunshine time during the day is very long (more than ten hours), the climate is very dry, and the water content of fruits is too high. Eating such fruit is bad for your health, so you dare not buy fruit. You only buy cucumbers and tomatoes as fruit. In addition, I bought ring earrings made by Hetian Jade in Ruoqiang County as souvenirs. 1 168 yuan.
The five-day total expenditure is 211.56 yuan, the per capita consumption is 10590.78 yuan, and the average daily expenditure is 605 yuan and 302 yuan. The consumption of this trip to Xinjiang is very rational, far lower than other places. We used to spend 4 100 a day in Sanya and 2600 a day in Gulangyu during the Spring Festival. Now we travel more and more rationally.
