Qingshuigou Reservoir is located in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, and is an excellent place for hiking and adventure. It is close to the Yellow River and has unique cultural charm and natural charm. I made an appointment with my classmates. On Sunday morning, four families carried their bags and went to Qingshuigou at the foot of Jiufeng Mountain. A few of us adults insisted on walking on the narrow and rugged path at the foot of the mountain, but we couldn't go straight forward on the mountain road. We had to cross the water back and forth and go through a steep mountain road, which made me feel a little afraid of heights.

Finally, we reached a wide, flat place. We all took a short break. Children look for frogs and small fish in the water.

In the valley, the breeze blows, the water jingles, and on both sides of the steep peaks, the clear blue sky is filled with leisurely clouds. Nervous emotions and tired bodies begin to relax, and the embrace of nature brings us joy and relaxation.

After a short stay, everyone set off again, walking towards the depths of Qingshui ditch. On the way, I found a small orange and black snake in the gap under a big rock. As I slowly approached it to take a closer look, the snake ran away and the children were curious and nervous. Bauer held my hand tightly and didn't dare to come close. Interestingly, not long after, we found another scorpion on the road, raising its orange tail to resist human harassment.

With the help of adults, Bold Smile captured the scorpion in a bottle. Dabao comforted his younger brother not to be afraid and said: We are gourd boys, defeating snakes and scorpions!

After walking for an hour and a half, we finally found a place with large flat rocks and small puddles, and started our picnic here.

The children couldn't wait to run into the water and play. We prepared cooking utensils to cook noodles, tomatoes and cucumbers, boiled elbow tofu, Zhuo Zishan smoked chicken, and dried tofu. Our lunch was still very rich and delicious.

The clothes of the friends playing in the water were soaked through. They simply took off their clothes and played shirtless. They were very happy. I took off my clothes and dried them on the hot rocks. Everything returned to nature, which reminded me of the scene of drying scriptures in "Journey to the West".

Admire the scenery, have a picnic, and watch innocent children playing in the canyon. They felt happy both physically and mentally, even though the road down the mountain was still rough.

I'm always surprised to find a natural waterslide on my way back. The water flow on the slope is so suitable. The kids had a great time, and Ball let her family and her father hold her for an experience.

Next to the slide is the steepest mountain road I have ever walked. Being timid, I gave it a try and decided to take the water route. If my shoes get wet, they get wet.

After passing this dangerous place, the rest of the road will be much easier to walk. Everyone played while walking, picking up stones, looking at the clouds, and releasing the caught frogs.

The snake we saw earlier was caught. When we passed by, we met the child's father, who was trying to persuade the child to let go. So we saw the colorful snake swimming back and forth in the water, but it disappeared in the blink of an eye.

With the rumble of thunder behind us, we walked onto a rocky mountain road. We were a little worried that the rocks on the mountain would suddenly roll down, so we quickened our pace.

After another hour and a half, we finally arrived at the exit of Qingshuigou. Looking at the thick clouds in the distance, we relaxed. We were all wondering if we had walked this road when we came here.

The outdoor activities in Qingshuigou, which were enjoyable but a little dangerous, are over. On the way down, I fell twice because of lack of strength and coordination. First, I slipped off the rock and rolled into the water. It felt like my knee was broken, so it was messy. Later, when I came down from the rock, my right foot twisted again. Fortunately, it was not serious and I could continue walking after sitting for a while.

The growth of the children is amazing. Their physical strength and courage are beyond our imagination. Even Xiao Erbao persisted.
