Does New Zealand exempt China from inspection?
As of March 8, 2024, China has not been granted visa-free treatment.
According to China Snack Service Network, China citizens still need to apply for a New Zealand visa in advance to go to New Zealand. However, New Zealand has participated in China's regional visa-free entry policy, that is, citizens of eligible countries can apply for visa-free transit for 72 hours or 144 hours under certain conditions and stay in designated areas for a short time. But this is for transit passengers, not for long-term visits or tours to New Zealand.
