Tourist attractions in shunhe, Kaifeng City

"White House", also known as "Ancient Kannonji", was founded in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Northern Song Dynasty and declined in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. When Kaifeng was liberated, there were only some dilapidated buildings in Baiyige. The present "Ancient Kannonji" was rebuilt in 1994.

"Baiyige" is located in a small street north of the middle section of the East Street of the Finance Department. To the west, Dongsimen, East Street and West Street reach Daliangmen directly; To the east, it connects Shiqiaokou and Caomen Street to the eastern suburbs. The Tower is located in the Tower Park in the northeast corner of Kaifeng City, Henan Province. She is well-known at home and abroad for her exquisite architectural art and magnificent slender figure, and is known as "the first tower in the world". The iron tower was built in the first year of the Northern Song Dynasty (149). Because it was built in Kaibao Temple that year, it was called Kaibao Temple Tower, and because it was all made of brown glazed bricks, it looked like iron color from a distance, so people called it the iron tower. The predecessor of the iron tower is a wooden tower, which was built by Yu Hao, a famous architect in the Northern Song Dynasty in China, to worship the Buddha Sakyamuni Buddha relic. It is said that; After eight years of design and construction, he finally completed the tower in the second year of the end arch (989). The newly built tower leans to the north. Someone asked him why. He said that the capital is flat and there are no mountains, and there are many northerly winds. Not far from here, there are big rivers flowing through it. In less than a hundred years, the tower will naturally come straight under the influence of wind and river water immersion, and it is predicted that the tower will last for 7 years and will not collapse. It's a pity that this wooden pagoda was burned by thunder and fire in the summer of the fourth year of Song Renzong's Qingli (144), and it only lasted for more than 5 years. In the first year of the Emperor's reign, Song Renzong ordered a letter to build the iron-colored glazed brick tower we see today on Yishan Mountain, not far from here, modeled on the wooden tower.

The tower is 56.88 meters high and has an octagonal thirteen floors. It is the tallest glass tower in China. It is completely made of China wood structure. The tower is slender, tall and majestic, and colored glass bricks are built all over the body. The brick surface is etched with lifelike flying figures, Buddha statues, geisha music and flowers, with more than 5 patterns. Surprisingly, the tower is of wood-like brick structure, but the tower bricks, like the wood chiseled by an axe, have tenons and eyes, grooves and grooves, and are built up and tightly jointed. According to statistics, the exterior of the tower is made of 28 kinds of standard bricks with precise design. The tower has windows, with the first floor north, the second floor south, the third floor west and the fourth floor east as open windows, and others as blind windows. The 14 bells hanging under the eaves, whenever the demeanor clouds wear, move leisurely, as if playing a beautiful piece of music together. There is a brick footpath with 168 steps in the tower, which spirals around the tower core. Visitors can climb the wall along this footpath and reach the top of the tower. When you climb to the top of the tower, you can see that the earth is lush and the Yellow River is like a belt. Visitors feel like floating in the sky.

the iron tower has been built for nearly a thousand years, and it has gone through many vicissitudes. As far as historical records are concerned, it suffered 38 earthquakes, 1 hailstorms, 19 wind disasters and 6 floods. Especially in 1938, the Japanese army bombed it with planes and artillery, but the iron tower still stands tall and strong.

hundreds of meters west of the iron tower, there is a hall with double eaves and painted beams, with blue tiles facing the sun, ridges and beasts in rows, which is spectacular. The temple is long and the stone lions stand tall, and 24 pillars around the temple are built around it. This is the largest temple in the iron tower park. The Buddha statue in the hall is 5.14 meters tall and weighs 12 tons. It is all made of copper, and the Buddha statue is charitable in appearance. There is a large-scale mural "Paradise in the West" painted on the temple wall around the Buddha statue, with more than 7 large and small Buddha statues. In the picture, there are kind-hearted bodhisattvas, graceful colorful women, fairy moths holding flower trays, dancing lightly and flying in the sky, and so on, with a wide range of clothes, colorful tapestries flying, loud and melodious, cranes dancing in Luming Literature, which is a warm and harmonious paradise scene.

to the east of the tower is the site of the Buddhist College established in the 193s. Now it is the historical relics exhibition room of the tower and the Yuhao Memorial Pavilion respectively. In the exhibition room, there is a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha carved out of white jade. This Buddha's face is smooth and smooth, with a smile, as if it were a stranger.

In recent years, the park has renovated the Iron Tower Lake, built underwater corridors, pavilions and waterside pavilions, set up cruise ships, and built rockeries and fountains for visitors to enjoy.
