After Shapingba, the car drove into the "S"-shaped forest road in Geleshan. Outside the window are lush trees. Suddenly, a white figure statue came into view. Some of them sit and think hard; Some stand with their heads held high and look into the distance; Some people are smiling and holding hands side by side ... where are so many statues? The tour guide told us that it was shaped by later generations to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs who died in Zhazidong. Facing the hero statue, I stood in awe and meditated silently. Scum Cave must be a huge killing cave! We got out of the car and couldn't wait to walk to the slag hole. Walking through a tree-lined path, I saw a huge stone tablet standing on the side of the road, which read five big characters-Zhazidong Prison. Here we are, here we are. A few more steps, the prison is in the ravine by the road. It's not as big as I expected. It is located under the majestic Gele Mountain, surrounded by mountains on three sides, and looks like a quadrangle hidden in the countryside. The prison is surrounded by high walls and barbed wire more than one meter high. Several tile houses in the fence are not too high but strong. The walls and houses are gray and black, which is very scary. The tour guide said that Zhazidong was originally a small coal mine where workers mined coal, so it was named after more slag and less coal. 1939, the Kuomintang border guards forced the mine owner to death, occupied the houses of coal mines and miners, turned them into detention centers, and held more than 300 "political prisoners"-revolutionaries at that time. Walking into the fence, there is an outer court and an inner court. The first thing to enter is the outer court. At the gate of the outer court, stands a monitoring tower. The enemy standing on the tower can monitor all the actions of the prisoners in the inner court. Approaching the interrogation room of the outer court, there are many instruments of torture on display, including chains, handcuffs, axes, nails, tiger-tailed sticks, etc ... It is said that the most cruel thing is the tiger-tailed stick-a foot-long wooden stick with sharp nails all over except the handle. When interrogating revolutionaries, the executioner used it to torture them. Again and again ... the revolutionaries were beaten black and blue, and they also tore the skin of the injured with their hands ... Looking at the tiger's tail stick, a bloody scene seemed to emerge. The interrogation room faces the prison, and all violent punishments in the room can be seen and heard by prisoners. This is a trick used by reactionaries to "kill the chicken to show the monkey". However, all this failed to make the revolutionaries yield, and the fierce tiger-tailed stick also lost its due power. Now, these instruments of torture are just lying on the stalls, confessing to people the heinous crimes they committed that year. Out of the interrogation room, you can also see slogans of Kuomintang reactionaries written on the walls around the outer court. One of them wrote: "What the chief can't see, think and do, we must see, think and do for the chief." Is this not a true portrayal of the dark rule of reactionaries? I visited the outer court, crossed the side door of the women's prison from the outer court and entered the inner court. The women's prison is very short, with only three.
From the women's prison to the men's prison, it is not much higher than the women's prison, but it is divided into two floors. Going upstairs, you can't even keep your head straight. With the lights on indoors, I saw the photos, letters and poems of the martyrs ... "In order to avoid the suffering of the next generation, we are willing to sit through this prison ..." What a tenacious spirit and tragic emotion! Without this lamp, it will be dark indoors during the day, which is really a black abyss. Out of the men's and women's prison, we came to a small flat dam for outdoor use. On one side of the flat dam, a rice milling rack was installed, and the rice milling trough under the rack was covered with moss. Walking in the inner court, I seem to see countless revolutionaries. Isn't that Sister Jiang? Isn't that Chen Ran ... They are ragged and disheveled, and live a dark life in prison. However, their fighting spirit is indomitable, and they never give in to threats and inducements from the enemy. They use the time of fresh air to convey revolutionary information to each other; They used the opportunity of rice milling to discuss the revolutionary line ... when will dawn come? They waited in the dark ... God, just when happiness was coming and dreams were coming true, they couldn't see the dawn they were looking for, and they were secretly killed by vicious enemies the night before dawn ... We left the dregs pit. At this time, I feel that I came easily, but I walked so heavily, because I have to take too much away. ...
