Qinhuangdao is a diversified eco-tourism city with mountains, seas, rivers, wetlands and the Great Wall. Its superior geographical location and good ecological environment are the city's unique tourism resources.

Beidaihe Scenic Area is located on the eastern coast of Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City, northeast to Pigeon Nest Park. It is one of the world's famous bird watching resorts, with 451 species of birds discovered, and is known as the "Bird Watching Holy Land". As early as the 1920s, it was known as the "top summer resort in East Asia" and became one of the four famous summer resorts in China.

Shanhaiguan, also known as Guanyu, Guanyu and Lulinguan, is located 15 kilometers northeast of Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It is one of the northeastern passes of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty. Before 1990, this place was considered the starting point of the eastern end of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. It echoed the Jiayuguan Pass thousands of miles away and was famous all over the world. The ancient city of Shanhaiguan is an important military defense system on the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. The east tower of Dongmen Town is majestic. Because it is located in an important pass, the situation is dangerous, and it is the first pass from the east of the Great Wall, so it is known as the "No. 1 Pass in the World"

Shenglan Ocean Park is located on the Golden Coast of Beidaihe New District, Qinhuangdao City. It was put into operation on May 1, 2015. It is currently one of the largest ocean theme parks in northern China. It is a large-scale theme scenic spot integrating tourism viewing, popular science education, interactive entertainment, catering and shopping, and leisure vacation.

Laolongtou is located on the coast of the Bohai Sea, 4 kilometers south of Shanhaiguan District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It is the eastern part of the Ming Great Wall and connects the nine gates on the east side of the Great Wall. It dives into the sea like a dragon head and makes waves, hence the name. Laolongtou is composed of Shicheng, Jinglutai, Nanhai Pass and Chenghai Tower.
