1. Yungang Grottoes
Yungang Grottoes, formerly known as Lingyan Temple and Shifo Temple. It is located at the southern foot of Wuzhou Mountain in the western suburbs of Datong City, Shanxi Province, and on the north bank of Wuzhou Sichuan River. The highest point of Wuzhou Mountain is called Yungang, hence the name Yungang Grottoes. The rulers of the Northern Wei Dynasty advocated Buddhism and built temples and caves extensively. 5. Xuankong Temple

It was originally called "Xuankong Temple". "Kong Pavilion", "Xuan" is taken from Chinese Taoist teachings, and "Kong" is derived from Buddhist teachings. It was later renamed "Xuankong Temple" because the whole temple looks like hanging on a cliff. In Chinese, "Xuankong Temple" means "Xuankong Temple".
