Xiamen QQ Travel Guide Five Days and Four Nights Itinerary Snacks

If you want to go to Xiamen and spend as little money as possible, travel time is very important, because during the Golden Week of Tourism, everything starts with the price, so when you decide to go, you must plan the time and place to go. This article is only suitable for student parties, rich people can ignore it!

Time:

November, five days and four nights, but it is recommended to go after the Golden Week in November. There are few people and the temperature is suitable. Just bring a few summer clothes and a light jacket.

5. Accommodation: We all live in inns and youth hostels because we are students and don’t have much money. A star hotel costs four to five hundred a night. In fact, we all feel that Xiamen itself is a place with a strong literary and artistic atmosphere. Wouldn’t it be more charming to stay in a unique inn? We stayed in Zengcuo_ on the first and second nights, Gulangyu Island on the third night, and near Jiageng Academy on the fourth night.

:Itinerary

1. Airport-Zengcuo_-Xiamen University-Zhongshan Road-Nan Putuo Temple-Jimei Village-Gulangyu Island-Kah Kee College

2 .From the airport, there will be an airport bus. I don’t remember whether it was 10 yuan or 15 yuan. It's not expensive anyway. I suggest that the first stop is Zengcuo_, because the airport bus can get off directly at Zengcuo_ Station, you can also take the Huandao Road along the way, and you can also take in the scenery on the bus. There are many inns and youth hostels in Zengcuo. Accommodation is very convenient. You can take a bus from Zengcuo to Xiamen. During the day, you can wander around the alleys and side streets, where there are various exquisite handicraft shops and snacks. What impresses you most is that as soon as you get off the airport bus, you can hear the sound of the sea lapping at the shore and soft folk songs.

3. If you go to Xiamen University, be sure to pay attention to the opening hours, but there will be no traffic restrictions after 5 p.m. Because I really didn’t want to spend time queuing up with my friends, I went in at around 5pm. Of course there are disadvantages, which is blackness. I didn’t see it very clearly or deeply, but I went to the most famous Furong Tunnel. Because it was dark, I didn't stay long. If you have to queue, it's better to go during the day.

4. Went to Nanputuo Temple in the morning. I always think it’s better to go to that kind of sacred place in the morning~ Nanputuo Temple is very close to Xiamen University, just behind it. Go out of Xiamen University, walk up and turn right. After entering the temple gate, there is a service station on the right hand side where you can get incense for free. I just happened to catch up with an event that day, so I could write a blessing card~

5. To go to Gulangyu Island, you need to take a boat to the pier, but! Hit the mark! There are two piers to Gulangyu Island, one for local citizens and the other for foreign tourists. Make no mistake. Gulangyu is a small hiking island. There are no cars on it, so it is worth a good look. It is recommended to stay on the island at night.

: Suggestions

1. You can take the bus as much as possible. In fact, Xiamen itself is not big. As long as you don't go to Jimei School Village, other places are not far because taking a taxi is too bumpy. It is said that the driver will take a detour, so we took a taxi to the airport for 50 yuan when we returned. So it’s quite convenient to check the route in advance.

2. Bring an umbrella. I remember that when we first entered Xiamen University that night, it suddenly started raining. Although it stopped after a while, it was better to bring an umbrella.

3. If it is far away, it is really cheaper to book a flight one month in advance, sometimes even cheaper than the high-speed rail. We booked it more than a month in advance, and it seemed that the round trip was only over 700.

About snacks and souvenirs

Speaking of food, I personally feel that Xiamen’s consumption level is not low. When I go to Xiamen, I mainly eat various local specialties, such as satay noodles, fried oysters, peanut soup, batter, and frozen bamboo shoots. It was everywhere, almost full as I walked and ate.

The satay noodles are so delicious. I like it. There is a brown sugar satay noodle shop on Minzu Road where you can eat. But there is a queue and it closes after noon.

The frozen bamboo shoots that I like very much are sold at the Little Glasses Food Stall. I think its frozen bamboo shoots and fried oysters are delicious, but don’t look for them.

There are many snacks in Bacheng, such as Sili Satay Noodles, Wu Zai_, Huang Zehe, Hao Qingxiang, Datong Duck Porridge, etc.

There is a Taiwanese snack street in the ferry. The taste is good or bad, but the best thing is that the variety is complete and the price is affordable, so you can eat enough at one time.

There are also desserts that must be tried. Slimei mango ice is very hot and you won’t regret eating it.

The desserts in the town of Lugang (next to Kyle Polo Hotel) on the west coast are great, and the snowflake ice is very good. It is one of the best desserts I have ever tasted.

Believe me, it is possible to use Qianye Su in Nanputuo’s vegetarian style. This is a local specialty. Is there any gift network or something now? You can place an order online and pick it up directly at the airport.

Never eat seafood on the road around the island, otherwise you may receive a sky-high bill.

Be sure to ask about prices when eating and shopping on Gulangyu Island. Try not to spend money on Gulangyu Island. It's all a lie to outsiders.

I hope my sharing can help everyone. For me, who I go out with is more important than the level of accommodation. Being with my favorite friends or partners or family, even taking a walk, watching the sunrise and sunset, makes me feel warm and happy.
