Introduction to Taiyuan Tourism Vocational College Taiyuan Tourism Vocational College is the earliest institution offering tourism education in Shanxi Province, a model vocational college in Shanxi Province, a construction unit of high-quality schools in Shanxi Province, the chairman of the teaching steering committee of tourism catering specialty in Shanxi Province, the director of the Council of china tourism association Education Branch, and the member of China Vocational Education Association. The college is organized by Taiyuan Municipal People's Government, managed by Taiyuan Education Bureau and guided by Shanxi Education Department. Its predecessor was Taiyuan No.28 Middle School (No.3 Dicun Street/KLOC-0, Taiyuan City), which was established in June 1984 and renamed as Taiyuan Tourism School in June 1998. In May 2004, with the approval of the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education, a higher vocational college at the junior college level was established and renamed Taiyuan Tourism Vocational College.
