Introduction to Liu Wen’s 17-year-old drifting to Beijing.

In 1988, Liu Wen was born into an ordinary family in Yongzhou, Hunan. I originally studied tourism, but accidentally embarked on the path of modeling. And luckily, she won the championship in the Hunan Division of a certain model competition in 2005.

After signing a contract with a modeling agency, because there was no substantial help, she rushed to Beijing alone and started her unknown career as a professional model. At that time, she was 17 years old.

Since her appearance does not conform to Chinese aesthetics, one can imagine the treatment she received.

“Fitting on clothes”, practicing on the catwalk and running endless rounds made her modeling career even more bumpy. But the stubborn Liu Wen swallowed this unfairness hard. She sprained her foot and fell down without saying a word in pain. Changing clothes behind the scenes has gone from being embarrassing at first to becoming a normal thing now. Life is not beautiful, but life is not always unbeautiful. God always loves those who are on the road of struggle.

After three years of dormancy, Liu Wen began to break out in 2008 and became a super-A model. In 2009, she became the first Asian model to appear on the "Victoria's Secret" New York T stage. In the spring and summer fashion week of the same year, it even appeared in New York Fashion Week for the first time.

Liu Wen, who has become famous, has also received endorsements one after another. For example, in 2012, she became the first Asian model to become the global spokesperson for the American cosmetics Estee Lauder.

Not only that, Liu Wen also continues to refresh the world's understanding of her. In 2013, Liu Wen ranked third on the MDC top50 list; in 2014, Liu Wen was the first Asian model to enter the "New Supers"; in the same year, in the global model income list published by Forbes, Liu Wen earned US$7 million with Miranda Kerr and Kate Moss tied for third place; in 2015, Liu Wen once again ranked 14th on the "World's Most Earning Supermodels List" published by Forbes with an annual income of US$4.5 million.

She is also ranked as the world's most profitable model by Forbes in 2016 with an annual income of US$7 million (46.746 million yuan). Ranked 8th on the list, becoming the only Chinese face on the list.

Although she conquered international fashion with her oriental charm, she said of herself:

“I was an insignificant person, but I accidentally fell into the big stage of fashion. I am still insignificant. She has carried so much of everyone's concern."

Such a mentality can always make her, who should shine, return to peace of mind, and we are not surprised at all that she is like this.
