Thailand Tourism Fishing Can you fish casually in Thailand?
1. Can you fish casually in Thailand?
It feeds on organic debris, algae and aquatic plants, and also likes wheat bran, rice bran and compound feed. Growth is rapid. In an intensive fish pond, it can grow to 8 taels in one year and 3 kilograms in two years. In the reservoir, it can grow to half a catty in one year and 1.5 to 2 catties in two years. When fishing in the reservoir, you need to master the habits of the giant salamander, master certain techniques and palatable bait formulas, so that you can easily catch the giant salamander. Thai shad can be caught all year round in the south, and the peak season is in summer and autumn when temperatures are high.
2. How to catch Thai shad
Thai shad, also known as Lusta wild shad, is a species introduced from Thailand in 1978 by the Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute. It is a tropical and subtropical fish. Compared with wheat shad, it has obvious advantages such as fast growth rate (water temperature 28-35°C), strong disease resistance, and high meat production.
The time when Thai shad begins to breed
The weather in South China in May is unstable and the water temperature is low. The average water temperature in June can rise to above 28, which is very suitable for the growth of Thai shad. It is recommended to start splashing Thai shad in June and raise fish pellets in the pond from the end of June to July.
2 Operations before stocking fish ponds
Crossing Tang Qian’s pond, or scraping the net for early stage mackerel, etc. The proportion (weight) of other fish is less than 20%. Otherwise, there will be some situations, such as Thai mackerel, which can eat materials, has small size, slow growth rate, and large size difference.
Three key points for releasing seedlings
The stocking density of Thai anchovies can reach 100,000-150,000/mu. The size of the Thai anchovies that pass through the pond should be large. The best size of Thai anchovy pellets is more than 3,000 pieces/jin, so the survival rate will be much higher and the uniformity will be better. The fish selling operation is carried out in a rotating catch-and-release method, that is, after a batch of fish is sold, fish pellets of appropriate sizes can pass through the pond on the same day, and the fish density in the pond is maintained at 100,000-150,000 fish/mu.
4 Feeding and management
Excessive food intake and insufficient food intake of Thai shad will lead to the problem of large size differentiation. It is recommended to use sliced ??shad (0.8mm) for feeding at 800-1000 fish/kg, and the feeding rate should be controlled at 5-8%.
5. Large-scale fishing
The larger the size of Thai anchovies, the more advantageous the growth rate. It is recommended to sell fish at 40-80 fish/jin, which will have a more obvious effect of increasing production.
3. Can you fish casually in Thailand now?
The fishy bait is mainly fishy, ??mixed with shrimp powder, and the water depth should not exceed 2m.
4. Thailand’s sea fishing resort
Thai people have a strong awareness of environmental protection.
The beaches on the island are full of corals and sea cucumbers, and no one owns them. If a large number of foreign tourists fish on the beach, it will violate relevant maritime laws. However, it can also be seen that people who look like Thai fishermen cast nets to catch fish, and no one stopped them. Because there are few people there, they are probably fishermen with formal fishing licenses. So the answer to your question is: as a tourist, don't catch fish on the beaches of Thailand.
5. Big fish fishing in Thailand

You can choose Meizhou fishing method to catch Thai shad. The specific drifting method is to use an empty hook to level the water surface.
First find the bottom with an empty hook and heavy lead, then pull the float down 10 cm, and then peel off the lead skin until the float is parallel to the water surface.
Take the bait and catch two eyes.
This fishing method can prevent small fish from building nests, increase drifting signals, and make it easier to catch fish.
7. Can wild fishing be done in Thailand?
1. Catching Thai shad
Thai shad are greedy and their ability to escape after being hooked is greater than that of wheat shad. . A fishing rig one size larger than wheat shad should be used, usually a hand rod of 4.5 to 6.3 meters; No. 3 to 4 main lines, No. 1.5 to 2 sub lines, No. 8 to 10 Shi_hook or No. 9 to 12 Izu hooks , No. 2~5 hard tail vertical mark. It is best to use a fishing rod to catch Thai shad, using the Taiwanese fishing method.
Two. A bait formula for catching Thai shad
The taste of Thai food is different
A formula: blanch 80% refined flour or corn flour with boiling water, and then use 20% rapeseed cake is substituted for soybean flour, mix well, add a small amount of honey and sweet distiller's grains, put it into a container, seal it, and leave it in the sun for 2-3 days to ferment. When using, add a small amount of rapeseed oil or sesame oil and stir into a bait ball with moderate hardness and softness, so that it has a rich oil aroma and a slightly sour taste. It should be noted that the flour for bait must be refined flour or highly sticky corn flour. Due to its strong stickiness, Thai shad can not eat up the bait easily, and the remaining bait is still attached to the hook, and will eventually be eaten together with the hook.
Recipe 2: Prepare 40% corn flour, 20% refined flour, 10% peanut bran, and 20% raw sweet potatoes (mashed); boil 5% corn flour and 5% refined flour into a paste. Put the other ingredients into a large bowl, pour the cooked batter into the bowl, and stir while it's hot.
When the temperature drops below 50, mix the sweetened grains into it (about 1kg of raw materials use a small bag of sweetened grains), pack it in a plastic bag, and ferment it for 36 hours before use. This kind of bait has the fragrance of grains and the sweet and sour taste of sweet wine.
The above two kinds of bait are the favorites of Thai shad. We need to be reminded that the bait should not ferment too much. Over-fermented bait is too acidic and Thai shad will not bite. In late spring and early summer, Thai shad have a strong appetite. At this time, earthworms or river shrimp will become its favorite, especially active earthworms, which are very attractive to Thai shad.
Third, fishing techniques for Thai shad
Thai shad and wheat shad have different feeding habits. Thai shad does not have a strong appetite in sultry weather and at noon, and is most likely to be hooked on rainy days and in the morning and evening. Therefore, it is better to fish on rainy days in summer and autumn, generally fishing early or late. Thai sprat has a strong temperature-loving habit. It feeds in shallow water areas in hot weather and at noon in summer and autumn, and enters deep water areas in rainy days, mornings and evenings. Therefore, it is advisable to fish shallowly in hot weather and at noon, and fish deeply in rainy days, mornings and evenings. Because Thai shad eats a lot and other fish also eat it, the nest must be large and full, and the bait should be a combination of large peanut bran cakes and granular bait.
First break the peanut bran cake into palm-sized pieces, add a few drops of koji wine the night before fishing, and seal it in a clean plastic bag. The next day, put 4 to 5 pieces at each selected fishing spot as the main bait, mix the fried peanut bran powder, soybean powder, and distiller into small pieces as auxiliary bait, soak them in water, knead them into fist-sized pieces, and throw them away. Put 3 to 4 pieces into the nest at a time. When fishing, if there are no small hooks, the bait can be red earthworms, and the whole organism can be hooked; the above two baits can be made by yourself, or you can add an appropriate amount of grain from the distiller to the bait used for fishing for wheat shad. Add (if there is no distiller grain, you can drop a few drops of white wine instead), add 2-3 drops of vinegar and stir evenly;
Commercial bait (calculated based on 100g bait) can choose King Anchovy, 2 Only Laogui Jiuba crucian carp bait, 1 egg milk, 3g strawberry essence, 4g or king anchovy, 2 sweet potato powder, 1 peanut bran, 2 and a half brushed powder strawberry essence, 4g. The Thai shad bites more cautiously than the wheat shad, and the bite is not as ferocious as the wheat shad, so it appears to be relatively calm. The reaction on the buoy is: moving slowly and gradually diving into the water. During the black marking process, the fish is basically caught by lifting the rod. When small fish take the bait, whether it is homemade bait or commercially available bait, the fishy smell and fragrance of the bait must be reduced to prevent other fish from swarming into the nest and keeping Thai shad away.

10. What procedures should be paid attention to when fishing in Thailand?
In 2009, long-term overseas fishing trips began to take shape. The cost of extreme travel mainly depends on the location of sea fishing and the level of travel.
Sea fishing is different from freshwater fishing, which is closely related to tides. As the saying goes, catch fish when the tide goes out, and sleep when the tide goes out. The rise and fall of sea water causes sea water to flow. When the tide rises, seawater comes to the shore, bringing algae, plankton, fish eggs, young fish, and shrimps with it. At the same time, seawater washes against the shore, increasing the amount of bait in the water. Fishing and biting are frequent at this time; the fishing effect at low tide is slightly worse than at high tide. During low and low tides, fish eat almost nothing. There are two ways to go fishing abroad, one is to travel in a group, and the other is to travel independently. Take sea fishing in Phuket, Thailand, as an example. If it were free, the current cost would be about 8,000. The good thing is you can do whatever you want. If you spend 5,000 on a group tour, the advantage is that you have to follow the itinerary.
