The best route for a three-day trip to Chongqing, please give details

The characteristic peninsula at the intersection of two rivers and the megacity with mountainous terrain have created a magical and magical 8D city.

The towering skyscrapers and majestic cross-river bridges make Chongqing’s night view even more shocking and magnificent.

Chongqing has become a focus for foreign tourists competing to check in.

Sightseeing Route

The formal route only takes three days to visit most of the attractions in Chongqing. Sister Xin recommends the following elite routes:

Day 1:

Chongqing-Geleshan (Martyrs Tomb, Bai Mansion, Zhazi Cave, etc.)-Ciqikou

Transportation route:

Daytime: Take Line 1 to the Martyrs’ Tomb Station, then walk to the Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum to start your check-in tour.

It is recommended to take a 20 yuan/renjing bus in Geleshan, stopping at important scenic spots along the way, and being accompanied by a dedicated tour guide.

Evening: Come down from the other end of Geleshan to Ciqikou, then have a meal and walk around the ancient town to see the night view.

Warm reminder:

If you only have one day in Chongqing, I only recommend you one attraction, and that is Gele Mountain.

This is a testimony of Hongyan culture and a symbol of the immortal spirit. Most of the ruins inside are well preserved and definitely worth spending a day exploring.

Also, don’t take a black car! Don't take the black car! Don't take the black car! Say important things three times.

The next day:

Chongqing-Liziba-Zhongshan 4th Road (Guiyuan, Zhou Gongguan, Dai Gongguan, etc.)-Great Hall of the People-Hong Yadong

Warm reminder:

Zhongshan 4th Road is the most beautiful street in Chongqing. It represents the past generations of Chongqing and has not been occupied by tourists yet.

When you are tired, you can find a small shop next to the yellow kudzu tree, drink a cup of coffee, and take a nap. It is also a good choice.

The third day:

Chongqing-Yangtze River Cableway (Liangjiang Ferry)-Danzishi Old Street-Nanbin Road

Warm reminder:

The Yangtze River Cableway starts from Xinhua Road, Xiaoshizi, and ends at Shangxin Street; the starting point of the Liangjiang Ferry is Chaotianmen, and it is recommended to choose marble for the end point.

It is not recommended to go to the Yangtze River Cableway on weekends and holidays, as there are still very long queues.

Ps: If you want to go to Dazu Stone Sculpture, you need to add 1 day, and if you want to go to Wulong Fairy Mountain, you need to add 2-3 days.

Chongqing Transportation

External Transportation

The T2 and T3 terminals of Chongqing Jiangbei Airport are connected to the city through rail transit, and there is an airport bus at night .

Chongqing Railway Station is divided into West Railway Station and North Railway Station. The former is located in a remote location, and the nearest scenic spot is Ciqikou. The latter is located in a lively area, with the nearest attraction being Guanyin Bridge.

Domestic transportation

Chongqing urban area: most scenic spots can be reached directly by subway. You can directly navigate and search the names of attractions and automatically plan the best route.

Outside Chongqing: Dazu Rock Carvings, Wulong Fairy Mountain and other famous attractions can be taken by tourist express train at the Longtou Temple Dismissal Center.

Chongqing Accommodation

Jiefangbei, Nanbin Road, and Ciqikou have always been the most popular places for tourists, but the accommodation prices are not cheap, and the surrounding food is not authentic.

Sister Xin recommends the following accommodation areas to everyone:

①Daping

Daping is the transfer point for Metro Line 1 and Line 2. It is very convenient to go to major attractions, and there are many authentic Chongqing stores around.

②Shiziping

Shiziping is close to the North Railway Station and Jiangbei Airport, and the price is very cheap. There is a famous hot pot street nearby, all of which are authentic Chongqing time-honored brands.

③Huaxin Street

Huaxin Street is at the intersection of Beibin Road, and you can walk to Guanyinqiao Business District. You can not only enjoy the broad river view of Chongqing, but also feel the hustle and bustle of the city's tourist areas.

Chongqing Food

Hot pot, noodles, skewers, Jianghu cuisine, Maoxuewang, grilled fish, chicken offal, hot and sour noodles, spicy chicken? Chongqing’s food can be described as diverse, but there is no One is not a foodie.

Chongqing delicacies do not necessarily have to go to online celebrity stores. Any popular store on the streets of Chongqing is time-tested.

However, Chongqing’s noodles are authentic in Yuzhong District. After all, a unique craft needs to be passed down from generation to generation. Recommend Huashi Noodles, Dazhong Noodles, and Dazhong Noodle Shop.
