The National Tourism Administration reported that people's desire for travel and leisure is not strong.

On May 19, the National Tourism Administration released the survey report on China citizens' leisure for the first time in Chongqing. According to the report, the leisure time of China citizens is only three hours, accounting for 13. 15% of the whole day. It is far below the average level of 23.9% in OECD18 countries.

According to the survey, China citizens spend more than 9.249 hours on work and related activities, including 65,438+0 hours of transportation time.

In terms of paid vacation, Chinese mainland ranks the lowest among the 39 countries and regions that participated in the survey. As for the implementation of paid annual leave for employees, only 7.7% people have made representations with the unit because the paid annual leave does not meet the relevant regulations. Only half of the respondents believe that it is possible to strictly implement paid annual leave, and state-owned enterprises and institutions are relatively optimistic.

Another noteworthy phenomenon revealed by the survey is that China citizens often hold negative comments on their leisure life. For example, they think that leisure means eating, drinking and having fun, which will hinder the development of individuals and society. Although the positive value and importance of leisure have been generally recognized, leisure is often not the first place when making practical decisions in real life. Once there is a conflict, many people will think more about making money, career and many other things in life.

Subjectively, China citizens' desire for tourism and leisure is not strong enough. According to the survey of leisure activities in the report, among all 32 kinds of leisure activities, China citizens choose the more popular family-style leisure activities, such as watching TV, partying and shopping, reading books and newspapers, surfing the Internet and so on. Women prefer beauty and handicrafts, while men prefer playing cards and mahjong, while tourism and leisure rank low.

The main factors that restrict China people's leisure can be summarized as: external views and activity places, that is, others' negative views on activities, fear of affecting their personal image, and family members' lack of support. Family and economic constraints, time constraints, environmental constraints, including the environment is too dirty and messy to go out, inconvenient transportation, personal lack of skills, interests and like-minded playmates. According to the report, these problems not only exist in reality, but also are the main factors restricting China people's leisure, which is obviously different from other countries and reflects the characteristics of China.

Leisure satisfaction is basically ok, with the highest recognition that leisure can achieve relaxation effect, followed by spirit, socialization and health. This also reflects the characteristics of China people.
