Driving from Jiangsu to Qinghai, you generally need to prepare:

2. Check the safety of the vehicle before departure, and promptly replace excessively worn brake pads and old or excessively worn tires.

3. The altitude of Jiangsu is very low, while the altitude of Qinghai is higher. For example, the surface of Qinghai Lake is nearly 3,200 meters above sea level, and the surface of Chaka Salt Lake is 3,100 meters above sea level. You should pay attention to altitude sickness. If you are worried about altitude sickness, you can bring some medicines to prevent or alleviate altitude sickness, such as Gaoyuanan, Rhodiola rosea, etc.

4. The climate on the plateau is changeable and the temperature difference between morning and evening is huge. You should bring rain gear and cold-proof clothes. For ladies who love beauty, you can bring some sunscreen products. For example, in August 2016, when three of my family were traveling by car in Gannan and Qinghai, the skin on my left ear peeled off because I liked to drive with the glass on and didn’t wear a sun hat.
