The Tourism Law stipulates what penalties should be imposed on "travel agencies that conduct false propaganda and mislead tourists, and the circumstances are serious"
According to the "Tourism Law", if false propaganda misleads tourists, illegal income will be confiscated; if the illegal income exceeds 50,000 yuan, a fine of not less than one time but not more than five times of the illegal income will be imposed.
Anyone who makes a profit by making zero-charge tour fares, arranging shopping or paying additional fees will be ordered to suspend business for rectification and be fined 30,000 to 300,000 yuan. In serious cases, the business license will be revoked.
