Provinces and regions in Canada
1. British Columbia is called BC for short, and the main cities are Vancouver and Victoria. Vancouver is the largest port city along the Pacific coast, with developed economy, beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. It has been rated as the most suitable city for human habitation for many years. BC Province is located in the westernmost part of Canada, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and bordering the United States. Rich in products, rich in humanities and developed in educational resources.
2. Alberta is called Alberta for short, and the main cities are Calgary and Edmonton. It is located in the eastern part of BC province and the western part of Saskatchewan province in Canada, and is a major oil and resource province in Canada. Compared with grassland provinces, Alberta has relatively more farmland and is famous for its huge "red neck" population, which makes them labeled as "Texas of Canada". However, because of their high oil production and proximity to importing countries in the Pacific Ocean, they are very rich and have great potential. It's snowy and cold in winter.
3. Saskatchewan, referred to as Saskatchewan for short, is a big grassland province and a big agricultural province, and is known as the "grain basket". It is very similar to Manetho in culture and environment. Saskatchewan is famous for its large indigenous population, and there are many concentrated grassland cities, including Regina (the provincial capital) and Saskatoon facing the north. Saskatchewan borders Alberta in the west, northwest China in the north and Manitoba in the east. On the map, Saskatchewan is almost a rectangle.
5. Ontario is called Ontario for short, and the main cities are Toronto (the capital of Ontario) and Ottawa (the capital of Canada). Ontario borders Manitoba in the west and Quebec in the east. Ontario accounts for nearly 40% of Canada's population, and most of them live in the south of the province. Ontario is Canada's economic center, a big immigrant province and a big cultural province, and it also gathers most of Canada's educational resources.
6. Quebec is called Quebec for short. Compared with other parts of Canada, there are great ethnic differences in this province. Quebec is the only province where English is not the official language, but French is the official language. This is because French colonists occupied this part of Canada in the 18 and 19 centuries, making them French Canadians. Together with British Canadians, they constitute two major ethnic groups in Canada. Quebec is located in the east of Ontario, bordering Newfoundland, Labrador and New Brunswick in the east. Quebec has many major French-speaking cities, such as Montreal. Quebec's unique temperament adds a sense of Europe to Canada, but it is not positive in all aspects. Almost 50% Quebec people want to leave Canada and declare their independence. This issue has been debated in Canada for many years, and it is still a matter of concern today. It is the third largest region in Canada. Quebec has a lot of snow in winter, and there are many tourist attractions near the St. Lawrence River.
7. Nova Scotia is a province directly bordering the Atlantic coast, with a developed fishery. As can be seen from the map, the province is basically a big island, connected with a long and narrow land. There is a lot of rain. The main city is Halifax.
8. Prince Edward Island is a very small island, and Charlottetown is its main city and the only city with a very small population.
9. Newfoundland and Labrador/New Brunswick (Newfoundland & Labrador/New Brunswick), these two places merged because they are embedded with quite a lot of French and Atlantic cultures. St John is the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Fredricton is the capital of New Brunswick. Labrador's island is very different from mainland Canada, and even has its own time zone.
10. Yukon/Northwest Territories/Nu Loewit are three administrative regions of Canada, which are located in the northernmost part of Canada. It is a place where the climate is very cold and few people live. Baima is the capital of Yukon, Yelonev is the capital of Northwest China, and Iquite is the capital of Nunavut.
Manetho, Manetho for short, is the fifth most populous province in Canada, located in the central part of Canada, and is the transportation hub of the whole country and even North America. Manitoba is located in western Ontario, eastern Saskatchewan and southern Nunavut. Like Saskatchewan, Manitoba is also a grassland province, so its population is relatively small. With cold winter and warm summer, Manetho is the province with the longest sunshine time in Canada and is known as "the sunshine capital of Canada".
