Do you need a visa to travel to Mongolia?
Mongolia is one of China's road neighbors and is closely related to Inner Mongolia. Genghis Khan, a Mongolian hero, and his descendants have had a far-reaching influence on us Han people. However, with the development of history, China-Mongolia relations have been very delicate. The anti-China plot of Mongols is very heavy, and it seems that China people don't take Mongolia seriously. Except Mongols, Mongols are so strange to us Han people. Coupled with the underdeveloped economy, few Han Chinese will go to Mongolia. However, the more so, the more mysterious it is to travelers. I've always wanted to take the K3 train from China to Russia. K3 departs from Beijing and passes through Mongolia to Russia. The train ran 10 hour in China, 1 day in Mongolia and 6 days in Russia. /kloc-in September of 0/6, I got on the train I wanted to take. In order to save money, I chose to buy the train from Beijing to Erenhot at 12306. Then take a bus across the border in Erenhot (about 1 hour, each car is about 100 RMB) to Zamenud, Mongolia, and then buy a train ticket to Ulaanbaatar in Zamenud. If many people go together, buying tickets in sections can save a lot of money.
Mongolian visas are divided into ordinary visas and transit visas, and the study and labor visas are RMB 3 15 yuan. 1 entry and exit visa 405 yuan; 2 entry and exit visa 605 yuan; Multiple entry and exit visas for half a year are 925 yuan; Multiple entry and exit visas for one year 1800 RMB. 1 transit visa 250 yuan RMB, urgent application 3 15 yuan RMB; One-time ordinary visa fee: 225.86 yuan. Two transit visas are 405 yuan, and urgent applications are 585 yuan.
I got a transit visa at the embassy when I was in Beijing on business. I watched Taobao visit 450 yuan for six days before doing it, and I paid 225 yuan for it myself.
Before going, I called the embassy at 0 10-6532 1203 to ask what I needed. The person who answered the phone was an uncle who felt sleepy and spoke slowly. His Chinese is quite standard. Q 1. What visa do you want? 2. Do you have a Russian visa? 3. Take a passport, a copy of passport photo page, a copy of Russian signature, and photos, and take a taxi together.
The Embassy of Mongolia is located at No.2 Xiushui North Street outside Jianguomen. It's easy to find by navigation. Only two soldiers stood guard at the main entrance. After asking, the soldier said that visas are not allowed here, but only allowed to go around through the back door window ~ Well, if the front door is not open, everyone will be forced to "go through the back door" ~ ~ The Mongolian Embassy will be hot. It takes two minutes to get to the back door, and the environment is quiet. Only three or four people apply for visas, followed by four or five people who issue business cards. They chatted with one of them (I found it beneficial to get married in the future, so I borrowed a pen and guided us to fill out the form all the time). He said that this season is the off-season in Mongolia, and more people will do it in June.
There are two windows in the visa office. The one on the right holds the form and directly tells you to apply for a transit visa. A form is divided into two aspects. In addition to key information, you can fill in your company's address appropriately, and the audit is not strict.
Fill in the form and give it to him together with passport, copy of passport photo page, copy of Russian signature and two-inch photo on white background. The staff will post photos for you. After checking them first, they will shout "go and pay". Then you can go to the window on the left and put your bank card in. 225.86 yuan ~ just swipe your card, no charge. It's important to say it once. You can get it in three working days.
The materials required for the transit sign are: passport, copy of passport photo page, copy of Russian sign, and a two-inch photo with a white background;
Price: 225 (credit card only, no cash) once, and the longest stay is three working days 10 day after sunrise signing.
Time: the visa processing time is from 9: 00 am to 12: 00 am from Monday to Friday. The collection time depends on the receipt, and it is usually signed at sunrise every three working days.
You'd better bring your own pen. If they don't have it there, you can find someone to help you, and it's best to attach a power of attorney.
Key points: From August 29th, 20 16, Mongolia will no longer check the health certificates of Mongolian citizens who come to China with short-term visas.
