Hohhot has Jokhang Temple, Hasuhai Tourist Area, Shengshuiliang Scenic Area, Taiwei Ski Resort and Daqingshan Wildlife Park.

I Jokhang Temple

Jokhang Temple is a large Tibetan Buddhist temple in the south of Yuquan District, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China, belonging to Gelug Sect (Yellow Sect). Jokhang Temple, in which "Zhao" means Tibetan Temple. The Chinese name was originally "Hongci Temple" and later changed to "Wuliang Temple". Because there is a silver Buddha in the temple, also known as the "Silver Buddha Temple".

Jokhang Temple is the earliest Huangjiao temple built in Hohhot, and it is also one of the large temples built in Mongolia after Meidaizhao converted to Huangjiao in the early days, which has a wide influence in Mongolia.

Second, Hasuhai Tourist Area

Hasuhai Tourist Area is a scenic tourist area with the Yellow River in the south and Daqing Mountain in the north. Daqingshan in the north, Hasuhai south dike in the south, Taobei Highway in the west and Wulan Village in the east, with a total area of 100 square kilometers. Scenic spots include highway around the sea, Swan Castle hot spring, water park, main square, grassland cultural area and other scenic spots.

Third, Shengshuiliang Scenic Area

Shengshuiliang Scenic Area is located in Daqingshan National Ecological Reserve, Baoheshao Town, Hohhot, about 30 kilometers north of Hohhot, with an altitude of 2 150 meters, and an hour's drive from downtown Hohhot. There are alpine grassland, Zhao Great Wall, virgin forest, Grand Canyon, natural caves, strange slopes, tombs of the Northern Wei Dynasty and other scenic spots in the scenic area.

This is the site of Dayao culture where ancient human activities took place in the Paleolithic Age, and Shengshuiliang Scenic Area is also a resort for leisure and summer vacation. It belongs to a part of Daqingshan, which spans the yinshan mountains in central Inner Mongolia, and is called the back garden of Hohhot, where the CCTV hit TV series Genghis Khan was filmed.

Fourth, Taiwei Ski Resort

Taiwei Ski Resort is located in Baoheshao Town, the new urban area of Hohhot, and in Daqingshan Ecological Scenic Area, a national 4A scenic spot. The entire ski resort covers an area of about 120000_. The ski resort is sunny and leeward, with birds singing in spring and summer and warm in autumn and winter.

The special climate makes the snow here regular and granular, making it easier to get a good skiing experience. When the snowfall is insufficient, the ski resort will equip Fu Na with sufficient snow-making equipment to ensure the best skiing thickness. Taiwei Ski Resort is the largest tourist ski resort in western Inner Mongolia with the most beautiful scenery, complete supporting facilities and convenient transportation.

Daqingshan Wildlife Park is located in the northern suburb of Hohhot, adjacent to Daqingshan in the north.
