2. Different historical developments: Northern Chiang Mai University was established in 1999 as North Chiang Mai College. It was renamed Northern Chiang Mai University in 2004 and is also known as Chiang Mai, Thailand in Chiang Mai. Northern University, Chiang Mai University was established in 1964 and has four campuses.
