Introduction to Zhangjiajie tourist attractions

The tourist attractions in Zhangjiajie include Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, Yang Jiajie, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, Badagong Mountain, Yuanjiajie and Huangshizhai.

1. Zhangjiajie Scenic Area

Zhangjiajie Scenic Area is divided into four major scenic spots, namely Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Yang Jiajie Nature Reserve, Tianzishan Nature Reserve and Suoxiyu Nature Reserve, which are collectively called Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

2. Yang Jiajie

Yang Jiajie is located in the west of Zhangjiajie City, bordering Tianzi Mountain in the north and Yuanjiajie in the west, only ten kilometers away from Zhangjiajie Forest Park. At an altitude of more than 1 meters, it is one of the four core tourist attractions in Zhangjiajie. Among them, WulongZhai, Air Corridor, Three Dooms of Hell and bandits' Nest have been included in Zhangjiajie's classic tourist routes.

3. Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is adjacent to the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, a world natural heritage and a world geological park. In 211, the AAAA-level scenic spot was successfully established, and in 216, it became the third largest scenic spot in Zhangjiajie City, becoming the twelve tourist boutique lines in the province. In 217, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon officially started the creation of AAAA-level scenic spots, and in 218, it became the first national-level service industry standardization demonstration zone in Zhangjiajie City.

4. Badagong Mountain

Badagong Mountain Nature Reserve is 85km away from Sangzhi County, which is located at the northern end of Wuling Mountain and the source of Lishui River. Its main peak, Cape Mountain, is 189 meters above sea level and is the top of Wuling Mountain. The scenic spot consists of five forest areas, namely, Cape Mountain, Cunninghamia lanceolata and Tianping Mountain, with a total area of 44,9 hectares. It is a national nature reserve and the largest and most intact virgin forest in the southern part of the Yangtze River in China.

5. Yuan Jiajie

Yuan Jiajie is located at the northern foot of Shandaogou, at the core of Zhangjiajie's world natural heritage. It is more than 1 meters above sea level, surrounded by steep cliffs, and stands in Wuling Mountain area, just as if protruding from the high platform. It is a huge and gentle mountain mainly composed of quartzite.

6. Huangshizhai

Huangshizhai is also called Huangshizhai, formerly known as Huangsizhai and Huangshizhai. It is named after a man named Huang Shigong who lived in seclusion here in ancient times. It is the essence of Zhangjiajie tourist area. It has always been said that "it is a waste to go to Zhangjiajie without going to Huangshizhai". Its main attractions are: Tianshu Treasure Box, Dinghai Shenzhen, Nantianyizhu, Jinhai Turtle Exploration, etc. It is the most concentrated place in Zhangjiajie and the largest aerial observation platform in Zhangjiajie.
