Why does Chongqing offer free admission to Shandong residents?

This event, with the theme of "Shandong and Chongqing are a family, cultural tourism helps poverty alleviation", is not only a demonstration of the results of Shandong and Chongqing poverty alleviation cooperation, but also a pragmatic way to promote the "good start" of Shandong and Chongqing poverty alleviation cooperation in 2019 measures.

There are varying degrees of discounts for tourists from Shandong; 9 non-A-level scenic spots in 14 poverty-stricken areas and counties have voluntarily implemented first-line ticket discounts for tourists from Shandong, with an average discount rate of 53%.
