How much cash can I bring with me to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan?

Anyone carrying a total value of more than 120,000 Hong Kong dollars/Macau patacas (or equivalent foreign currency cash) or bearer negotiable instruments when entering Hong Kong must take the initiative to report to the customs Report it or you will be breaking the law. In Macau, incoming tourists can discard excess tobacco products. If they deliberately conceal it, they will be fined 50,000 to 100,000 patacas (approximately RMB 424,000 to 85,000 yuan).

In Taiwan, you can bring 1 liter of alcohol, 200 cigarettes (10 boxes, one), 25 cigars or 1 pound of cigarettes within the duty-free scope.
