Which mountain is called the first mountain in Shandong? What's so great about it?
Compared with other famous mountains in China, the altitude of Mount Tai is not high, and the main peak, Jade Emperor Peak, is only 1532.7 meters, but it has a majestic feeling because of the flat terrain below.
Mount Tai was revered by feudal emperors, and the people were in awe. Every year, many foreign tourists have a dream of Mount Tai, which is often a subtle yearning and influenced by literary carriers such as ancient poetry and prose.
Since Qin Shihuang, 13 emperors have come to Mount Tai to meditate or offer sacrifices.
In 2 19 BC, Qin Shihuang began a trip to Mount Tai to worship Zen, claiming that he was ordained by heaven, which triggered the worship of Zen by feudal emperors. Although the feudal history of China lasted for thousands of years, not every emperor was qualified to meditate on Mount Tai. Among these emperors, Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty, Qin Shihuang and Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty were outstanding figures, and they all achieved good results during their reign.
The most labor-saving and time-saving way to travel to Mount Tai is to take the cable car to Nantianmen, but this way will miss some scenery along the way. We choose to walk, where the greenery, mountain breeze and birdsong are refreshing, and the most important thing is that we can see the cliff stone carvings of different dynasties.
How many cliff carvings are there in Mount Tai?
It can only be said that tourists can hardly see it. It is not distributed in a certain area alone, but in different places. These stone carvings and calligraphy were written by literati and dignitaries in past dynasties.
In the process of climbing Mount Tai, you can see some huge stones standing in the air from time to time. They have different shapes, and some seem to fall down at any time, but after hundreds of millions of years of evolution, they are still as strong as ever.
Mount Tai is also called Daishan, Daizong and Dongyue. During the tour, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there is also a welcoming pine here, which is somewhat similar to the welcoming pine in Huangshan Mountain, Sanqingshan Mountain and other famous mountains.
Compared with Huangshan Mountain, Huashan Mountain and Sanqingshan Mountain, Taishan Mountain has more lush vegetation and is much less difficult to climb. If you have more time, it is comfortable to slow down.
The beauty of Mount Tai lies in humanity. There are more than 20 ancient buildings and more than 2,200 stone tablets on the mountain.
For those who rarely climb mountains for exercise, climbing Mount Tai is indeed a test, but for those who often climb mountains, it is not very laborious. The relatively steep slope is the rising slope near the Nantianmen, but its gradient is much gentler than other famous mountains that are often above 70-80 degrees. Here, at least you can talk and laugh with your companions and climb some other dangerous peaks. You can only tighten the chain by hand, concentrate and dare not relax.
