Problems in Tourism Development in Anhui Province

Anhui tourism positioning theme positioning: Anhui mountains and rivers show the world; Decision-making orientation: Anhui tourism will be transformed from a resource-rich province into a strong tourism economy province; Economic orientation: cultivate Anhui tourism economy into an important pillar industry of national economy and implement the comprehensive development of "agriculture, industry, tourism and trade"; Target Positioning: Anhui will be built into an excellent tourist province in China, and the "two mountains and one lake" (Huangshan, Jiuhuashan and Taiping Lake) tourist area will become a world tourist attraction.

1. The total amount of tourism is low. The total tourism revenue index comprehensively reflects the overall scale of tourism economy and the overall operating results of tourism in a country or region. The total tourism revenue of our province was 4L10.50 billion yuan in 2006, and it exceeded100 billion yuan in 2006. Although it has increased a lot, it still ranks low among the five provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Delta tourism circle, and the total tourism economy is still low.

2. The comprehensive supporting services of tourism need to be strengthened. It is an inevitable trend for tourism to develop from simple sightseeing to sightseeing, vacation and leisure tourism. At present, the investment in amusement and leisure facilities, shopping centers, finance, communication and medical care in tourist attractions in our province needs to be strengthened, and tourists stay in scenic spots for a short time.

3. The ability of tourism to earn foreign exchange is low. In recent years, our province has improved the reception capacity of Huangshan, Hefei and Fuyang airports, and intensified its publicity and promotion, but there is still a big gap compared with neighboring provinces in China. The policy of promoting domestic tourism by inbound tourism has achieved remarkable economic results in Yunnan Province, but it has not been well implemented in our province.

4. Tourism management needs to be further improved. The diversified investment system of tourism in our province has gradually taken shape, but the overall scale is small. The relevant supporting policies are not perfect and the implementation policies are not in place. Investment promotion is affected to some extent, and industrial development is restricted to some extent. The service ability and internationalization level of tourism need to be further improved.
