Dalian Puguang Temple (Hongmen Temple) is a cultural tourist attraction.

Puguang Temple, formerly known as Hongmen Temple, is located in Miaogoutun, Shilipu Village, Sanlibao Town, Jinzhou District, Dalian. It was founded in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 800 years. During the Japanese invasion of China, this temple was set on fire by Japanese invaders. After 2000, it was built by the layman Wang Deyou, and ten good men and women donated money. Renamed Puguang Temple.

After three years of intense construction, the main projects such as Daxiong Hall, Five Hundred Arhats Hall, Shanmen Hall, Tianwang Hall, Guanyin Hall, Dizang Hall and THE TEMPLE OF JIALAN Hall have been completed. Other supporting projects, such as squatters, zhaitang, huts for men and women's houses, bathrooms, etc., have been basically completed and fully equipped.

Now Puguang Temple is huge and magnificent, with five-story halls and antique buildings, as well as the completed Xiangyun Tower, the open-air Maitreya Buddha and the release pond under construction. At present, temples with a building area of over 5,000 square meters and an area of over 30,000 square meters have begun to take shape. While the temple is being restored, it is even more auspicious, especially the ancient wells that have been dry for many years reproduce manna and the water quality is clear.
