Introduction of Dachang Ancient Town

Dachang Ancient Town is located 1 kilometers north of Dicui Xiakou, a small Three Gorges scenic spot (National 5A scenic spot) in Wushan County, Chongqing, and on the east bank of Daning River in the north of Wushan County. It is located in the traffic hub of Chongqing and Hubei, and has been a battleground for military strategists since ancient times. It is 6 kilometers away from Wushan County by waterway, 9 kilometers by land and 141 meters above sea level. In the winter of 1932, He Long led the Red Army to the border region of Sichuan, Hubei and Hunan, and once stationed in Dachang. The ancient town, founded in Jin, has a history of more than 1,7 years and is the only well-preserved ancient city in the Three Gorges area. The ancient town covers an area of about 1 hectares, with the east-west main street about 35 meters long and the north-south main street about 2 meters long. It is a "pocket-sized ancient city" with "four doors to talk and Yi Deng as the whole city". In December 215, Dachang Ancient Town was selected as one of the 3 best new tourist landscapes in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
